Some fat chick sued them because she was feeding tons of it to her kids and claimed she didn't realize it wasn't healthy. Her whole argument was that she didn't have time to read all labels. At least, I think it's something like that. Idiot.

Adding hazelnut to chocolate is the devil's work. So is milk chocolate, for that matter. It's like adding water to scotch - makes it more drinkable for those not ready for full flavor, but doesn't make it better.

People that love Nutella other than as a guilty pleasure are the same people that think Hershey's makes good chocolate.

Not the cause of action at all. Pretty much every state has an unfair and deceptive acts or practices law the forbids making false or misleading statements about a product in an advertisement It isn't the damages to the fatties that bought it that created the wrong, it was the very act of misleading consumers in the first place that did. Its incredibly simple law that is really easy to comply with, but for some reason Nutella decided to say fuck it and came out with a commercial that touted it as a healthy breakfast food. It could not be an easier case to make that this violated the law. Seriously, they are going to pay over $3 million in penalties that 15 minutes of legal research would have prevented.

Italians- weren't we just in a war with those people a couple years ago?
