Hmmm. Good point. The US price ranges from 5-15k. If she went to India, she could get lots of work for 5k, but it's expensive to get there

The SERE episode is always good times.

I'm convinced that if they could have found a way to reduce the wives' presence by 50-75%, The Unit would have essentially been a slightly poor man's 24. Still a fun, fun show, though.

Find a way? They had their chance when the wives got all shot up! I think every guy watching was going, "please, please, kill all the chicks and have The Unit guys go on a revenge killing rampage."

Just another opportunity missed by wussified Hollywood writers.

I think you got your mini-rampage later on in the series with the death of, you know. Don't want to spoil it for anyone. But I'm not sure CBS Standards and Practices was going to sign off on the brutal shooting death of 5 women. Although I would have enjoyed seeing that pitch from Mamet to a room of horrified CBS execs.

So he's not a dude, and definitely not a man...

So what's happening to Rivieri? Taking a 14 yo to the ground for absolutely no reason? I assume this isn't his first transgression. Nice work by the kid filming it.

The video is more than three years old. The officer was fired last summer.

  • I hate starting a thread that gets zero response. Do you know how hard it is to track down a picture of Jenna Von Oy ("Six" from Blossom) with three other attractive women to the right of her?

I thought it was clever, but forgot to post on it. Sorry.

  • I can't explain; but, since I've become a parent, sometimes I'll try and figure out the conception date/reasons for people's birthdays. For instance, five of my FB friends are celebrating birthdays today. Looks like parents were getting busy on Labor Day weekend.

I'm not a parent and I often wonder this myself if a bunch of birthdays fall around the same time period.

  • It does seem like late May-mid June is a pretty big birthday time. Must be Labor Day.

  • Do dogs get nightmares? Last night my dog woke up and ran down stairs like he was going to attack the person who just kicked in the front door. Except there was no one inside (thank God) or outside. Startling way to get woken up at 1:30.

My friend has Irish roots, and he was born on December 17, exactly 9 months after St. Patrick's Day.

Except it's more likely that he was conceived around March 28th.

  • Yeah, the 9 months isn't timed from the actual act.

LOL, like BWES wouldn't just complain to her about the Phillies' bad luck and his tortured fandom the entire time he was there.
