  • Two Charted is pretty much my favorite podcast, especially now that there are two a week. It's just so ridiculously inside that it would be hard to get someone into it.

zero chance she even remembers me but i have an insane memory when it comes to that kind of stuff. i'm really good at recognizing people and placing it even if i've only met them once or twice.

  • I went to Kings Dominion yesterday.. while riding "The Dominator", the ride suddenly came to a jarring stop right before making the first big drop. I was more annoyed than scared, but there was some old Mexican chick in the same row as me who started losing her shit. She was actively trying to escape from the harness, screaming in Spanish, and praying. I tried to calm her down, but it didn't help much. Luckily for her, she couldnt get loose..

They got it running after about 10 minutes.. and gave everyone a free "cut the line" pass. Worth it, imo.

I encourage people stupid enough to get out of their safety harnesses to do so.

They sell food to their hungry patrons ($3 breakfast FTW) and sell a lot of those items in the store as well. They introduced me to Lingonberry juice which they have on the soda fountain and is great to make at home and add vodka.

You have no idea how excited I was when they were giving food away for free during Memorial Day weekend with the purchase of $100 in furniture that I was planning to buy already.

Man from Mars that won't take orders from ...

Caught dumping tree parts in Detroit, man says he won't take orders from women Resident Jeff Brown told 7 Action News the perpetrator committed the act in broad daylight. "All of a sudden I hear this really loud crash," said Brown. Brown said he could not believe what he saw - a man with a flat bed boldly unloading large chunks of wood right into the street. "As I went to go say 'What are you doing?', the driver of the truck, a short blond haired guy looked at me and I looked at him. He took off south down Conant," said Brown. Brown took action and got in his car and eventually tracked down the truck in Hamtramck. According to Brown, the vehicle was abandoned. He called police and jotted down the license plate number. While he had been searching for help, no arrests had been made and the mess remained. That is when he decided to call 7 Action News. "We are known as 'The D' and 'The D' is starting to stand for 'The Dump" in the sense that you do whatever you do, you dump it in Detroit and run and that's exactly what has happened here," said Brown. Taking action for Brown, we called police. Officer Eric Hill was out here within minutes and worked to get to the bottom of it. Hill took the matter very seriously and in a matter of hours, Detroit Police had a crew from the Forestry Department clearing the debris. "Thank you channel 7," said Brown. 7 Action News tracked down Ihor Stetkewycz, a Warren man. He admitted to driving a flatbed truck in the East Side neighborhood. He said he hit a curb and the wood accidentally tumbled out of the truck. We asked him why he would just leave the wood in the street. We were floored by his response. "You don't have to ask me, and I don't take no orders from no woman by the way. By the way, I don't take no orders from no women," said Stetkewycz. When asked why he ignored people yelling at him to stop he continued with his offensive comments. "It must have been a woman and I don't listen to women yelling. I tell them to shut up." he said. When we asked if he had any plans to clean up the mess he responded: "Oh yes. I'm Mr. Clean Up. I'm not Mr. Clean. I'm Mr. Clean Up," said Stetkewycz." He went on to tell Action News that he's from Mars. • I guess the price of cigs has really skyrocketed if a half carton makes this guy's stolen property list after he got ambushed and knocked out.

A University of Maryland student is out of the hospital after a frightening home invasion and robbery at his off campus apartment.

It happened just before noon on Friday, in the 8400 block of 48th Avenue in College Park.

Ryan miller was sleeping in his room when someone kicked in the front door.

The next thing he remembers is waking up in the hospital with a huge gash in his head.

That's when he learned the off campus house he shared with several other guys was burglarized.

"All of our laptops are gone. My wallet's gone, and a half smoked carton of cigarettes," Miller says.

Not a chance. My World Geography class in 9th grade went around the world and you had to learn where each country was based on what region you were studying at that time. I would tend to think a majority of high schools offer/require such a class.

Nope. Geography is a very underemphasized subject in school from my experience. I recall having to make maps of different parts of the world in 7th grade, and having a couple map quizzes in 11th grade but those were historical, not modern.
