Never lost power at my house in Millersville, so we shacked there. Power was out at my GF's house in Severna Park until just a few hours ago. SP was fubar (and still may be) on the Ritchie Hway/B&A strip.

I'd have to believe that folks that pay their bills have an unofficial priority. Also, in some of the better neighborhoods, you can be sure that favors are called in from political wheels and contributors. That's life.

Bethesda is hit or miss. A lot of stuff downtown is back on, Old Georgetown is a disaster though and pretty much everything west of it is still out north to Democracy.

I would guess that they attempt to prioritize (somewhat) by number of service calls they get, and they probably get more calls from richer areas (more contact options, less willing to put up with prolonged outages/bad service).

3 houses in my neighborhood of 100+ have power. Somehow, mine is one of them. Unexplainable. Im 2/3 of the way back into the neighborhood and almost all of the houses on either side have no power. My next door neighbor with power must have some secret NSA power line that Im tapping in to.

Absolutely absurd. I'm around the corner in Forest Glen, and was still out. I'm currently staying at a friend's place in Arlington (Court House), not sure how long this thing will last. I also downloaded the Pepco app and it says "Your Account is not part of a reported outage at this time". Does that mean 20902 finally has power?

I understand the frustration, but some communities, SP for example, literally have power lines weaved through tree branches. Every time the wind blows, someone loses power. The power company and the community need to get together and just run the stuff under ground, I'm sure it would pay for itself in a few years without these outages and the crews that they have to pay to respond.

Our lines are underground (Baltimore County) and we were without power for 30 hours. We've been in this house almost 20 years, this is the first time power has ever been out for an extended period of time.

I'm in Crofton and we got power back at 7pm Sunday. I have a tree down in my front yard and lost a limb from another tree that is about the size of a small tree. I'm going to have to deal with that today and tomorrow. Might buy a gas chainsaw. I'm not sure my little electric one is up to the task.

Got tired of this crap - we have many multiple day outages over the last few years. Home Depot in Silvers Spring, Tech Rd. had three pallets of generators this morning. Bought one and then our power came on an hour later....keeping the generator for the next time (probably later this summer)

Still no power in Annapolis, my generator has been running like a champ, but all the fans mean nothing if the inside house temperature keeps pushing 90.
