I just bought my brother (white 18 year old stoner/mac miller kid) some gold plated ugly ass nixon for $200 for his birthday. He really wanted it for some reason. I offered him different brands I knew that were nicer but he was dead set on that watch for whatever reason. Ugly ass watch.

Never owned a single watch in my entire life. Don't wear them, and don't understand people who would spend $$$$$$$$ on them. They're used to tell time -- my blackberry/phone/computer clock/wall clock (or a cheaper watch) would serve that purpose just as well.

Nixon started as watches catering to skaters, so groms will think you're legit, if that matters. Not sure what they're like these days.

I haven't owned a watch in the last ten years, so while of course I have owned one, there will soon be entire generations of adult males who will not.

Why do you use a watch? There are only two purposes: 1) to "accessorize" and look good, and 2) to tell time. I don't accessorize, and I don't need it to tell time.

Love their watches. Perfect step in between a ton of cash and regular old Sears Seiko crap. I own two...one for the water and a dressy one.

Durr, I can't explain why I (or anyone else) love $$$$ watches, I just do. It's my only guilty pleasure. Maybe it's just a subtle way of showing "status" since I dress like a teenager and drive cars that I worry about every time they need to pass an inspection. Most of the people I deal with (clients) wear expensive watches and expensive suits. I wear jeans or shorts to almost every meeting I'll ever attend. A Rolex on my wrist allows me to be taken seriously. Sounds superficial, but most of life is.
