Downfall (Germany) - anyone who is the least bit interested in WWII should see this...story of Hitler's last days in his bunker underneath Berlin as the Soviets close in. Extremely grim and surreal story.

Echo these sentiments. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen.

I saw Downfall few years ago at E St. Cinema. Its a really good movie, but damn, it is slow. I felt as if I was experiencing the last 15 hours.

Just watched The Town. Thought it was really good, though a little similar to The Departed.

The Australian version of Red Dawn - Tomorrow When the War Began.
Rather thin, but enjoyable nonetheless. The two girls talking in the truck scene is kind of frustrating.

We just bought a Roku and subscribed to Netflix. First movie: The Men Who Stare At Goats. Pretty funny.
Pretty good picture quality too. I was worried our router wouldn't be able to handle it - it's about a year old - but no problems with bandwidth or anything.

Yeah, it was way too schmaltzy. Good movie, but could have been great.

I know I'm four months late, but for what it's worth, The Lovely Bones was an excellent book. The movie completely butchered the story line.

I saw The Town this weekend. Pretty good movie, but between the trailer and a little bit of common sense I knew pretty much everything that would happen in the movie in the first five minutes.

The Town was more of a love story disguised in a heist action film I felt like, which just shows how hollywood needs plots to appeal to multiple demographics
Watched Rudy the other night, good chick flick but for a football flick, not enough hitting and gamedays for my taste.

A Face in the Crowd. Elia Kazan's classic made me hate Andy Griffith for a whole different set of reasons besides shilling for Obamacare. Great acting job by him!

Just watched a movie on netflix called southbounders. Maybe I'm a little tipsy but I really, really liked it. Its kinda cheesy and really low budget but it has an awesome soundtrack and awesome cinematography. Its an Appalachian trail love story!

Fletch - Felt like Caddyshack to me in the sense you have to be a certain age and seen it when it was first out to appreciate it.

The Jerk - I've run out new movies as I'm rewatching classic comedies I've never seen. This one was pretty awesome, usually I never think comedies age well but I'm a huge Steve Martin stan and thought this was great.
Taxi Driver - Watching it now on AMC. It gets better every time I watch it. It's going to make me start a thread.
