Movies that you recently watched not in the movie theatre

  • watched the lovely bones today. This may be the worst movie I've ever seen, It sincerely pisses me off.

First off If I am the girls sister and find evidence of my sisters killer. and get away with it WHY THE HELL DON't you tell someone and give them that evidence.

Second what a selfish slut if you came back from the dead and got a kiss instead of telling someone about who killed you and where your body was.. especially if you knew he was a serial killer. Instead they have her kiss a dude.

this is at the top of the all time movies I hate list. not because its bad but because it makes the least sense of anything I've ever seen

    Pic Sigs are for losers.

  • I watched that on HBO yesterday with my wife... I thought it was decent other than the fact that as you pointed out made ABSOLUTELY zero sense.

I suppose the sister was happy her parents were back together and the murder was what tore them apart... *shrug*

  • Saw Get Him to the Greek last night. Hilarious as expected. Even stopped hating Puffy for a while there. Cameos were fantastic.

Zombie Wars - Fifty years after a world-wide zombie epidemic had begun, a small group of rebel soldiers learn that intelligent zombies have begun breeding humans for food. The soldiers plan an all-out war to rid the Earth of the flesh-eating monsters for good, as the rest of the surviving world's population struggles to survive against the zombie hordes.

  • They showed the four Superman movies on Saturday night. Superman II is still one of my favorite movies of all-time

Question: three movies is a trilogy. What do you call four movies. (Die Hard, Indiana Jones, etc.)

lol i watched this the other night too. easily one of the worst movies i've ever seen if not the worst. wahlberg should be embarrassed. the scene that really had me shaking my head in awe was the montage with susan saradon. i suppose she was supposed to be the comic relief or something but that montage was just way out there. we're dealing with the death of this girl and the pain and anguish of the family then all the suddden grandma is dancing in soap suds with her grandchildren. i missed the first few minutes but i didn't even know there was a little brother until that scene. atrocious movie.

    Quadrilogy?

I watched The Core last night. Fantastically bad movie. It looked like a SyFy Original.

  • and how about the ages of everyone? from the beginning the little sister looked older than the girl who was murdered. and then there was the boyfriend poet kid. again i missed the first 15 minutes or so but the first time i was introduced to him he was sitting at in the mall and that random chick who channeled the girl approached him. i had him pegged as 20-something and the girl was was murdered like 12 or 13. i know this movie was supposed to span a few years but they did an awful job with it. the ages of everybody was so out of whack.

    Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare (1987) - IMDb

Directed by John Fasano. With Jon Mikl Thor, Jillian Peri, Frank Dietz, David Lane. At an old farmhouse, a family mysteriously dissapears at the hands of evil. Years later, hair metal band The Tritons comes to the farmhouse, whose barn now features a 24-track recording studio. Lead singer John Triton gets the band to perform their first night in the farmhouse after dinner, and weird little beasties suddenly appear...

  • Titanic 2 - Horrible, just horrible.

A guy names his big ass cruise ship Titanic 2, and naturally, disaster ensues - which brings up the question, who has bigger balls: The guy who's stupid enough to name a cruise ship after the biggest ship disaster of all time, or the guy who spends $100,000 to make a movie with Titanic in the title?

EVERYTHING about this movie was horrible, but the special effects (forget the cartoonish cgi, we're talking about concrete walls in the lower decks boo boos) were the worst I have ever seen. Fortunately the acting was worse. And then there was the Coast Guard admiral who treated a captain like he was his boss...

  • I watched The Warriors yesterday.

    Highlights:

"I'll shove that up your ass and turn you into a popsicle."

    "What are we going faggot?"

    The Orphan gang in general.

    Lowlights:

    The Radio Girl's lips.

I also just watched Hocus Pocus on ABC Family.

  • For those with a Wii, you no longer need a disc to use the streaming. Just download the netflix channel (free). This actually helps since I can be shockingly lazy about putting the disc in to watch stuff.

Anyway, I watched about 80% of the Richard Donner Superman II cut finally. Pretty interesting to see the differences between his version and the original version.

  • Finally got a chance to see 'The Boys from Brazil.'

Was kinda strange to see Steve Guttenberg (pre-Police Academy days) trying to play a real actor.

  • Watched 30 Days of Night last night. Watchable, but given the premise and how the set-up was unveiling it could have been soooooo much better.
