That fevered dream had me going for a second. I'm thinking how can they redeem Don from murder. Screwing a million chicks is nothing compared to that. Also Megan is going to get very tired if she pitches a hissy fit every time Don runs into an old lover.
So is grandma's seconal what send Sally down the rabbit hole?
Thank God Joan kicked her husband out. I hope her mother leaves too.

The "Joan at home" storyline does so little for me.
Sorry for my (and my wife's) short term memory loss, but what we she referring to about Mr. Soldier's past.

Sally Draper. Discuss
Her future is the biggest office pool we have going right now. I'm trying to narrow it down to one of these options:
A) She grows up to be Casey Anthony. When this happens who deserves the bulk of the blame? Is it, psycho, sleeps with a butchers knife grandma? Dad who murders his affair partners in hs dreams? Mom who probably doesn't even know her first name? Or her ever changing brother, who seems to get portrayed by a new actor every season?
B) Drugs, drugs, drugs (I'm going to say drugs too). She'll be smoking cigarettes in a year, marijuana by age13, LSD by 15, then creepy "OMG sex" with Glen by 16. The Jenny Gump route
C) She goes to Woodstock, dissapears for the entire 70's and pops back up in 1984 as a housewife in suburban Chicago.
If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?

I liked the themes that ran through this ep, but they really hit you over the head with them moreso then normal. Like when Sally and the "dead" girl were under the beds in back to back scenes.

The Speck murders of the 8 nurses and the one nurse under the bed. Andrea dead under the bed and Sally under the couch. Cinderella theme, with Sally under the couch with one red shoe.

The move Peggy pulled on Roger was pretty awesome, but I thought it kinda stretched the level of the character's maturation. Sure, she ain't the wide-eyed innocent that was Don's secretary, but I just don't buy her being so cunning now that she can extort a partner. I had to suspend some disbelief there.

Oh I buy it. Over the seasons, she's become a bit of the leader of the non-partners. Plus the target is significant. She wouldn't do that to Don but I think everyone is starting to key in on Roger's tenuous grasp of power.

Yeah I don't think it was a stretch when you consider Roger's desperation and the fact that she was clearly confident drunk.
I don't like the episodes where Pete is a background character.
