MAFIA - Civs loo, no wait, THEY WON!!!!!!!!!!

    Ok, we learn a very large amount with Hammer being lynched.

    If he's mafia, then Hoops is almost certainly the ninja.

    If he's civ, then Jman is very likely mafia.

    Also, that double post by Titan is the stuff investigations are made of. Not the fact that it's a double post, but the typical mafia Titan short and sweet with lots of hanging sentences.

    I can't get over Toog's posts though. They're just so bad.

    Before I switch, what's the consensus? If we have to pick out of the group of Hammer, Toogs, Jman or Da - who is it?

    Even though I'm voting for him right now, I don't like Da as much as Jman or Toogs.

    This post is just so bad knight in retrospect. It's lining up mislynches left and right, while asking questions about who to vote for as a group.

    I put forth the JMan/Hammer relationship rationale, but if you remember, I put it forward with the stipulation that "if Knight, FTN, and Hoops are civs" -- if you are mafia, the qualifier goes out the window since you satisfy the mafia in that group. If you're not, like I said, it's honestly shitty luck to have such a big vote to start the game and have 0 mafia involved.

      I have a civ lean on FTN with the OT kill combined with his general posting history on day 1.

      If Hoops was the ninja, he would essentially be doing his best to play like a civ on Day 1 and 2.

      Eagles' theory (which I buy), is that if FTN, Hoops and I are all behaving like civs, then one of Jman or Hammer is mafia.

      So, if I think that hoops is the ninja, then I want to kill Hammer, because if hoops bounced from one mafia to another then I find it almost certain that he is the Ninja.

      Question: is the ninja impervious to jailing?

      More important question: Does the vig hit go off simultaneous with the mafia hit? If so, after the cop comes out we have options due to there being no watcher or seeker.

      • god I played such a lazy last round. JMan's interactions with Da should have made it obvious he wasn't mafia if I had happened to go through this thread once. Da didn't interact too much with anyone alive.

          I think it's more likely that the ninja isn't a dumb-dumb, but just figured that there would be no way in hell Titan would block Da twice.

          I meant to ask this earlier, but do we even know that Da knew that he was blocked? Mafia could just as easily have assumed that their target was jailed.

          Another random bad post (sorry Knight), considering it was 7v1. Lynching anyone at that point with no civ specials of importance isn't a bad idea or certainly not bad enough to get quasi-defensive about it.

                          I missed smiley's vote. dagger. I'm pretty sure it's eagles but I will listen to both. I don't have time right now but some of the stuff he said last night was bad. smiley comb through it if you have time.

Today is ninja camp so I'll make my vote by 11:30 and then won't be around for the rest of the round or not until the very end of the round. That kind of sucks, because I'd really like to hear what Eagles has to say.

                              • I don't have much to say. Whichever of you it is + your mafia deserve a lot of credit since I'm relatively stumped at this point. Your mafia either went after the godfather or triple stacked with the whole mafia to start the game, both of which are more unusual than just leading the run on 7erps day1, so from a strick voting standpoint even though I was the only one of us on mafia I probably look the worst.

                                Smiley hasn't posted enough of relevancy to get a read. I thought toogs was bad early, moved off of that, and now not sure what to think. The vote for knight when he said he was waiting for ftn after ftn said he wouldnt vote for knight was odd. I'm also curious about what was "bad" that I posted last night.

                                    Find a game where the whole mafia stacks on the godfather rd1 in a spot where that person could realistically get voted off and get back to me.

                                    The illogical nature of this statement is that this isn't defensive on my part but rather in assessing someone else. So I don't get what you're saying. Me being defensive of Smiley is indicative of me being mafia?

                                          Well I actually started the only non-investigation kill but the circumstances necessary if toogs is maf is a 3 vote stack to start the game which is odd.

                                          Toogs posting that didn't bother as much as saying it and then voting for the one person FTN said he wouldn't vote for.
