  • I was on three Continental flights in the past week and they have the tvs in the headrests. You have to pay for them and if you don't after 10 min or so they just cycle the same commercial over and over. There were so many morons who just refused to turn their tvs off. Are you that stupid that you want to watch a preview for Sucker Punch over and over while 1/3 of the screen is covered by a box asking you to swipe your card? Then after about an hour it just goes to a screen telling you to swipe your card. It's not like you have to get off your dumb ass and look for the remote, it's built into the effing armrest.

    I'm less pissed off by that and MORE pissed off my couples who do little code word or inside jokes on their walls. Its like "Hey only we can understand what this means but lets post it on a public wall so everyone can wonder what stupid fucking thing we made up."

    It gets worse ... I'm a sysadmin and will get alerts when too many emails come from or are sent to the same address in a small time-frame (system thinks it's a bot).

    This inevitably happens when boyfriend/girlfriend decide to use email as a substitute for the phone/texting and email back and forth every 30 seconds.

    I don't know what pisses me off more: the predictable inanity of their exchanges (yeah, when the alert goes off, copies are kept ... a must read for anyone) or the fact that one of them is blissfully using the fucking WORK email system I'm trying to keep lean to solve their issues.

  • In kindergarten, we're taught to stay in line and walk on the right side of the hallway. Today I still do this, whether it's running, biking, walking. Why is it that there's always ppl walking or running directly at me in my lane? I'm biking down a hill at 30mph and theyre running right at me. Why don't they run/walk on their right side? What's wrong with these ppl, do they drive on the other lane?

    I was walking behind this Asian couple at Venetian and they just stopped to have a conversation in THE MIDDLE OF A FUCKING DOORWAY.
