The only place this happens to me is Costco for lunch, where you can't use a debit card. Definitely use a debit card wherever possible.
I finally got smart and put a ziploc bag in my car for change. As soon as I get change, it goes into that bag, where it gets used for parking meters/tolls.

My wife doesn't completely screw the cap on anything, but she sets the cap on top and maybe gives it half a turn. You don't know how many times I've picked up a bottle of something and shook it (like salad dressing or hot sauce, or OJ) and the cap flew off and shite flew everywhere. Or tried to pick something up by the top and knocked it over. I check 99% of the time, but the 1% time I forget, I get burned. Drives me INSANE

Holiday e-mails.
If you don't care enough to send a real card, then just don't send anything. I think less of you for sending a Holiday Greeting e-mail than nothing at all. And don't give me that environmental bs.

My wife leaves the cabinet doors open in the kitchen all the time. It must be a door thing because she never closes the door to the small closet in the hall either. Cost me a broken toe one morning when I got up for work.

My girlfriend does this with some small things but nothing like OJ or hot sauce. I would seriously consider murdering her if she did that.

When I was on vacation in Italy this year, this dumbass 60-ish American couple was at the ATM in front of me. We arrived near the same time, so I motioned for them to go ahead. While the guy put his card and then PIN in, the woman had taken off her jacket and was making this ridiculous scene to cover him up, as if I or some conniving thief was going to steal their information. I have no clue why the whole body needed to be covered up, as opposed to just the hand entering the PIN.
Needless to say, this debacle took far more than 60 seconds.

People who think that just by saying their dog's name, they are taking full responsibility for it barking at you, chasing after you, licking you, jumping on you...etc
If your dog doesn't stop doing those things, then you aren't ACTUALLY doing anything by saying its name. I still have mud all over my jeans, snags in my sweater, and slobber in my hair.
