Anyone pumped?
IGN just gave this bad boy a perfect 10, and starts the review with this:
"The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the greatest Zelda game ever created. It's the best game for Wii and one of the finest video game accomplishments of the past 10 years."
Say what you want about Wii vs the other systems, but Zelda has always kicked ass. I dunno about you, but I have a Goron boner for this

Will move onto this when I get done with Skyrim. Pretty excited, to say it's the best Zelda game ever is a bold statement.

I'm sorry, but that doesn't seem possible. Ocarina of Time may have been the greatest video game of all time.

I'm excited about it certainly. Gamespot gave it a 7.5, but its metacritic score is 94, so they seem to be in the minority.
But yeah, I'm really skeptical this one is better than OoT.

I'm not a gamer but I would like to get this for my daughter for x-mas. Is this the kind of game I'll need to stand in line at midnight if I want it to be under the tree?

They had a demo set up at the mall last night. Got to try it out and it seems like they are trying some motion features that will be more of a headache than anything (but just might take some time to adjust).

Have to agree as well. Loved OOT, but LTTP is what I think of when I hear the name Zelda.

Majora's Mask was good but it was no OOT.
Link's Awakening is one of my favorite games of all time. Tal Tal Heights music FTW

I replayed through both Ocarina and Majora's Mask this summer. Great stuff; even though I had no patience to try to remember all the shit I had to do so I was consulting walkthroughs often.
Pretty excited about the new game, though I feel like giving it at 10 is probably overvaluing it - I just don't see it being too terribly revolutionary even with the motion gameplay.

Just got it yesterday. Haven't played it much yet but liking what I've seen so far. But goddamn what I wouldn't give for old-school Super Nintendo controls.
