    I'm sure I'll draw heat here, but it is misplaced. jtp had ample time to make a claim as special. He did not. He was in a position to kill me. I know I'm a civ, so I killed him. No reason to drag it out.

    And if we were both mafia, we would have been better off holding our vote until the end of OT and taking the RNG (or letting someone else choose which of us to hit).

    To be honest, I thought JTP was a civ by the end of the round for the reason you mentioned. I figured he would have made up a fake role claim prior to Smiley's switch late if he was mafia since there was no real downside to doing it.

    I do agree with Smiley that I don't get why mafia didn't fire at you at the very least to see if there was any protection if you're a civ. But if you killed a teammate that quickly in OT then kudos, very unorthodox play.

  • Cop doesn't come out until he has mafia or the numbers dictate it under this format with a roleblocker. With one mafia it is worth the tradeoff. If the roleblocker dies it is a different story. However, looking at the setups again, does the cop know whether he has protection? Scenario B has a cop and a watcher, meaning he has no protection at all.

  • Also I doubt evo is posting Bazinga there as mafia (though posting after a known killshot in OT probably shouldn't happen). Coupled with his vote on JTP, he's probably the cleanest one after rd1.

    FTN on the chance he's a more valuable Maf than JTP was, thus the quick hit to kill a teammate and not leave it to chance. Not really that unorthodox.

    That on top of tossing a vote on me on Day 2 without any justification. If you're going to vote for me at least include some reasoning.

    I thought the game started at 4 (or was the initial intent) and he just started it earlier because we got enough people.

    I took a nap and woke up to this thread. I never read the first post in a sign-up thread. I say "In" and wait for the game thread.

  • Also I think history speaks for itself a bit in voting for you early to see how you react. Unfortunately waiting until later in the game leaves the group with not enough time for your meltdown not to hurt the civs... No offense obvi

    Like FTN and UTf as civs right now. Smiley would not shock me at all as Jtps teammate but not as likely this go around. I buy Raise comment right now. Gotech and hooligan would be worthwhile to get ups here for reaction sake and obviously evo and Titan will get my best scrutiny although Titan was much quieter (albeit a larger game) last week as mafia in the early rounds.

    Ok, no way. You can't just float out a name like that and let mafia jump on the bandwaggon.

    Evo and Gotech look awful for blindly jumping onto this pile.

    If anything, JTP looks a little civ now.

    However, if you need rationale, I expect separation first day from mafia members, but you look for "slight defending." However, knowing jtp died as mafia when I read the first thread, I then read the thread with this information in mind. Smiley said we should majority kill jtp. Little strong for separation, IMO. However, when I read page 2, here's the comment that stood out to me in response to him.

    They were posted the exact moment, and it can't be taken as "contrived" through teammates because you are on your phone and, thus, unable to be in a chat room for such planning. It just validates the truthfulness behind what we are saying.

  • jtp's day 1 vote was for akwhite, who has been mia since voting day 1. Could be for separation. Yes, it pushed white into the tie, but it was a 4-way tie and didn't necessarily put him into a tough situation.

    I don't like knight's day 1 vote.

    In a game with no dxl/toogs/slt, I'm surprised eagles wasn't the night 1 hit, especially since he was pretty quiet day 1. His only post day 1 outside his vote was a semi-defense of mafia jtp.

  • I think gotech and evo read clean for their quick switch given jtp was mafia. Gotech had implicated jtp in his post before voting. Unless this was designed, but I doubt that at this point.

    Akwhite - nothing but a vote on him from jtp
    Eagles - wasn't hit night one, voted jtp
    Hooligan -nothing
    Smiley. - saying majority jtp is bold for maf but he's radical
    Knight - standard knight so far so don't know
    Titan - good player/arch enemy/thinks I'm gay

    Something about this post smells to me. FTN claims that jtp isn't the play and then has an OT vote on him? He's either mafia or a special.

    I'm going to go with evo due to this post "It is day 1. Only mafia worry if their vote looks like self preservation amirite? Just vote for someone you think would be fine to lose on day 1 but might squirm enough to reveal if they are mafia. If you happen to be the one everyone else is voting for, well c'est la vie".

    I've found that people that are extra jokey (amirite) and easy going (c'est la vie) do that to get people off the track. He was also the first to do the pile on, maybe to have something to point to later in the game

    I just embarrassed myself with this post
