JTP's vote isn't telling one way or the other. He probably could have gotten heat for any decision that he made. A solo vote is a throwaway, a vote to push someone ahead looks like self preservation, and tying a fourth person seems like it's muddying the waters.
It is unlikely both he and Smiley are mafia together though after Smiley's vote + suggestion to majority lynch.

When I voted I put a 3rd person in a tie, not 4th.

It is day 1. Only mafia worry if their vote looks like self preservation amirite? Just vote for someone you think would be fine to lose on day 1 but might squirm enough to reveal if they are mafia. If you happen to be the one everyone else is voting for, well c'est la vie

skins was an interesting hit. I thought he should draw some heat here for his quick vote and disappearance on day 1, but mafia obviously thought he might be a special.

I'm sure I'll draw heat here, but it is misplaced. jtp had ample time to make a claim as special. He did not. He was in a position to kill me. I know I'm a civ, so I killed him. No reason to drag it out.
And if we were both mafia, we would have been better off holding our vote until the end of OT and taking the RNG (or letting someone else choose which of us to hit).
