Watches are much like expensive sunglasses, and only exist to get broken or stolen.
Just get a good cell phone.

A watch is attached to your wrist so if you lose it you are basically a retard.
Also I'd wager a dive watch is several times tougher than your cell phone so it won't break either.

My watch keeps impeccable time... you can also talk on it, take photos/videos, send and receive email and texts. It's pretty sick.
With the advent of cell phones, watches should now be called bracelets.

I don't know about legit but I'm a big fan of Skagen watches. They are thin so they don't hang on your cuffs.

If you want a watch to tell time, buy Timex. If you wish to impress, buy a Rolex.
I bought a $3200 Tino Lamborghini watch for about $400 at an auction on Biz.com. It has a leather band and a big face with a black dial.

Have rolex prices increased over the past few years? I was gifted a stainless steel submariner in 2000 in thought it was worth about 3500. I just tried to look them up and I can't find it listed anywhere for less than $5,500.
Oh and by the way I never wear it.

I have about a thousand dollars in watches, but i have 8 watches. So there probably is not one legit one in the group. But you can get great deals on very expensive watches on Gilt if that is what you are after.

Rolex always increases their price. So its worth getting earlier than the later if you ever want one.
