HD Television

This can't be real. You have a 52" LCD without HD service. How is that even possible.
My parents don't have HD, but the biggest TV they own is 27" and it's a CRT from like 2002.

This reminds me of my roommate. He bought a 42 inch LCD about 6 months ago and I noticed he has it hooked up using SD component cables. Mind you he's obviously watched a ton of HD TV and we have a 70 inch HD TV in our living room, yet somehow he hasn't noticed to this point that he's watching his new HD TV in SD.

Not often...maybe 2-3 times a year. I think I know the root you are taking but can actually think of 2...1) Don't go to starbucks each month and you can save that money for HD, or 2) If you buy starbucks you can get coupons for free HD?

My roommates didn't want to spend the extra money for HD, even though they had a 52" LCD. Trust me, there are people out there like this. They just view the TV as a big screen.

I shake my head every time I visit one of my friend's apartment because he does a have flatscreen LED TV, but yet does not pay for the HD channels.
