    This is right...when Dany got pregnant, Jorah sent word to Varys and the thought is he was doing favors in order to earn a pardon from King's Landing.

    Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.

    Oh right I had forgotten about that because of how he made up for it by stopping the merchant from poisoning her. Appreciate the refresher.

    Also, I could watch two hours of Arya and Tywin talking every week. Only a matter of time I think before she lets something slip and he figures her out.

    Ceresi may have issues w/ Joffrey, but, I don't think she will harm her kids.

    Arya/Tywin have been the best part of the show this season.

  • FWIW, Tywin has essentially "figured it out" already. He called her out on being a highborn girl because of the way she talks, and I doubt he bought her "I worked for this woman that taught me to speak proper (ly)" line.

    Like he said, he's not worried too much about it because he's amused by her.

    Cersei won't do anything to Joffrey, and Tyrion can't/won't either because that would just undermine their family position further. If having a deranged and sadistic 16 year old (Joffrey) on the throne is bad, having a non-entity 10 year old (Tommen) is even worse. At least so far as the politics are concerned.

    Also, did anyone watch the tag for next week's episode? It said only 2 episodes remaining, but I'm pretty sure this was #7, so there should be 3 left. Unless the season finale is a 2 part or 2 hour one.

    Yeah, I was thinking about it more too and it makes sense how he's handling it if he does know who she is. What's the saying, keep your friends close but your enemies closer? It's not like he can kill her while the Stark's have his son, so he just keeps her around so he can keep his eye on her.

  • I doubt he knows specifically that she's a Stark, but he knows she's completely full of crap and is hiding who she really is.

    i like the scenes north of the wall, comedy and it talks about original land settlers etc.
    also it seems like they are setting up jon to take over up there. they are setting up a lot just to have the crows murder everyone.

    Is Tywin marchin on Rob or is he marching to King's Landing? (I got the feeling he was going after Rob but wasn't sure).

    Loved that bit from Tryion about how even if the dragons really existed they wouldn't be a problem for another three years or so - "one war at a time".

    Tyrion showed softness for the 1st time and I didn't like it. I hate that it is already finishing. Seems like it just started.

    For some reason I feel like he may not win the battle, but still live. I struggle with what happens to Tyrion types (who I suspect will be around throughout) if they outright lose.

    Last season, ep 8 had a lot going on and set up a lotta good stuff in eps 9 & 10. Season 2 looks to be following the same recipe.

    Loved how they just stayed focused on King's Landing tonight and didn't jump to Qarth, Winterfell or the Wall.

    Yeah that was Renly's boyfriend one of the Tyrell's. Littlefinger had gone to Tywin to make a deal between the two, I think his sister might get to be queen.

  • that was one of the best/most intense episodes of TV I've seen. so well done too, but i am kinda disappointed that stannis didn't take kings landing and davos died (where is melisandre?). all in all this show just kicks so much ass.

    Melisandre stayed back. Davos advised Stannis that if she was with them than it would look like she won the battle, not Stannis.

  • This may be a stupid question, but who was it that wounded/killed Tyrion? Looked to me like it was someone from the Kingsguard. Gotta think that Joffrey is going to be ridiculed by Tywin for hiding and having Tyrion lead the forces instead. Don't want this season to end.

    One of the two members of the Kingsguard assigned to go with Tyrion.

    Yea Boros Blount or Manden Moore. I forget which one it is in the book but it is one of those two that Joffrey leaves out there.
