    Solid vote, parlay.

I think so. I really didnt like his post.

disclaimer...have never seen this show or read these books...

Out of the three, I am not sure why Knight is getting this much heat, as it seems it is nuKnight playing and not being crazy...

As for the other two, it is a flip, and would go ***jtp*** as of now...

but, I am actually surprised at Parlay putting out a vote and just leaving...he is usually one to talk

That's usually after day 1. Not unusual now for me to post a vote and nothing more in day 1. I'm not as chatty a player as I was -- likely because I'm not here as much.

  • Logical to me.

7erps and JTP make conservative participation posting and rarely set off the alarms until all that is left is themselves and unaware civs. Most dangerous kind of people in a theme game like this where people are going to over-think roles and dismiss poster tendencies.

I'll certainly take a pint of whatever Knight was having. This is D3 week boys.

You put my name and JTP's name where yours should go. With a decent amount of newer players, it's not a bad idea to come in early and try to garner their attention and get them thinking you know what you're doing, but I think we can all agree that your forte is dodging lynches as mafia, not as winning as a Civ.

Me not being a loud poster is funny for you to say.

IMO the most dangerous kind of people in a game like this are mafia/indys, but good try

you are posting very oddly thus far. I don't know if it's character, or super boner for the show, but something is not right.

    As is evo.

  • I am Roose. I am only allowed to post one time on the first day, twice on the second day, and so on until day 5, unless called upon to speak. If I am alive on Day 5, I am free from these restrictions and may post as often as I wish. Since I observe well, I would also get an investigation at that point.

Haven't played in a while, so like Hoop, I don't get why jtp and 7erps are suddenly way out in front on day 1. evo coming in this morning trying to push votes doesn't look great, but I don't think there's anything to it.

I'm assuming ryala is posting in character.

I don't see much in parlay's vote. He usually doesn't post bomb the thread this early anyway.

I'll vote jtp for now, but I'm going to keep Bogie's stacked vote in the back of my head for a little while. He's definitely the type to try the obvious bad looking move and not care about what it looks like.

Whoa where did I say no loud? Conservative participation meaning you play, but you don't rock the boat (baby) when mid-late game rolls around. Remember we've been mafia team mates like a dozen times in a row. I know you sir. I know your game.

lol there is going to be so much shit to wade through in this game. Nice job of leaving a big question in a post you allegedly can't respond to:

You don't get why jtp is way out in front but then you vote for him?

    ***switch to Evo***

7erps is not a conservative poster by any stretch of the imagination. Dude is always mafia and he nearly always steps in it by the end of the game. I think I can only recall one time where 7erps was the last remaining winning mafia (Wake boards game, I think). He's a good player, and he's a nice guy, but he isn't conservative in his participation.

Parlay is right - Evo's initial post wasn't on target. It seemed way too eager to point in a concrete direction.

Switching my vote creates a three way tie, I think - I'd rather it just push Evo in the lead though. I didn't want to create a three way tie, but 7erps has handled being out front on a slow morning pretty well.

oh yes, blessed is the 3 way tie, it tells us everything.

I don't think so, other than the gods comment.

It is interesting that the 2 people who started the votes on me are now the 2 closest to me in the lead. I know I am not mafia/indy, and makes me think they are not as likely either.

I really think that Evo's post was just a requirement of his role (which some will say is a reason to vote him off). Why just rattle off three names (of the two highest votes at that point and his vote).

So based on how I have played during middle rounds while mafia, you would want to kill me now and risk me being a civ with a solid role versus just waiting until middle rounds and seeing if I am playing that way and then come back to your point?

I currently see it as a 2 way tie (with you and jtp) with Evo & 7erps one vote down. So I am not sure if you taking one person out of a tie with you is a good sign for you or if you just thought you were moving someone else in the tie.

I also don't like how gsterp can only post once today, but voted to put someone in a three way tie. In that position, shouldn't he throw away the vote since he cannot switch?

Correct. Why put something off until tomorrow than you can accomplish today? Let's make you a head shorter shall we?

Toogs: note the "unless called upon to speak" part.

Also, anyone else think this reeks of a safe claim? Granted, I didn't read the books but nothing about Roose makes me think that power or that restriction fit his character. I'm not a fan of this post or this reveal and it seems out of character for gs but I am admittedly horrible at get a read on gs.

    lol what logic is that?

Knight and Jtp get me out into the lead, people then come back and vote them up when of all the votes on me, Terrapinfanman and Bogey (IIRC) had much worse looking votes, but no one has pointed to them. Likelihood doesn't equal certainty in my post.

    7erps

  • There is a lot of crap out here already on day 1, starting with Toogs making a guess at player alignments in like the third post, followed by drunk Knight, followed by over helpful Knight followed by 7erps and Raise jack-a-lacking around about stupid stars. You all stink and none are worthy of the iron throne.

The worst post so far has been gsterp throwing out 5 names and then saying that he will vote for someone "now" but knowing that he can't change his vote later in the round because he can't post - and his power is to get an investigation day 5? Yeah, no.

Despite being blasted on the first page, I actually did have a pretty good idea. With the number of players in this game, there is almost certainly a truth saying ability. I am not mafia.

So you can make this comment hoping that a truth sayer (assuming there is one) can test you. However, you can post that statement as an indy knowing that you will come back truthful.

Don't like how both you and damo posted "I am not mafia" instead of "I am not mafia or indy."
