an italian hoagie is the hi def tv of sandwiches...once you have the best you can never go back to anything less
i wont even order an italian hoagie without a vetting process of the place its from...whereas id blindly get a steak from anywhere

This really should be the final. I'm basing this soley on the fact that the Italian is a more versaitile sub. Cheesesteak is Durant, Italian is Lebron. Cheesesteak is a great scorer, but Italian does everything well.

When I was in college I did an internship with the MD transportation authority doing inspections at a construction site up by Ripken Stadium. Every month or so someone would have to drive down to Balitmore for a meeting or something and would stop at some italian deli and come back with subs, antipasta, little balls of mozzeralla, etc. It was amazing and I have no clue what that place is called.

Best Cheesesteak I ever had was at Primanti's.
White House in AC is def up there for Italians.

My best Italian? Meh. Pedestrian sub, IMO.
Would I take a great Italian over a bad cheesesteak? Likely but I'm not positive. This really shouldn't be close.
