  • I've had a thing for Bloodgood since Journeyman.

Moon Bloodgood is growing on me. More cleavage jiggling CPR scenes, plz!

Margaret has got to be an imbedded spy for Pope, right? They're teasing something where she won't give details how she ended up with Pope's gang. Plus, she seems to have above average killing skills.

she was hot in entourage. she knows how to use a crossbow that's for sure.

so the scene where she kills 2 of pope's guys means what?

would she really spy for someone that lets his henchmen abuse her? if it was just a cover story, why would pope allow 2 allies to get killed like that?

i'm not saying you are wrong as it seems obvious the show makes no sense (but is entertaining most of the time)

  • Just caught up from last night. Am I the only one still watching this? Didn't expect to see Pope again this soon. Previews look like Pope might take a babyface turn.

Didn't take but one episode for this guy to turn. Characters look like they are flipping as fast as the WWE. He's always typecast as an a-hole:

  • Something seemed off about that guy from the get-go, but I wonder what kind of deal/how he made a deal with the aliens. Surprised Noah Wyle didn't immediately draw a historical comparison to the pied piper.

  • I'll give the show credit for getting interesting at the end of this episode. I'll continue to watch until they bog down in some other "Oh the poor kids" subplot that doesn't involve people being treacherous/stuff getting blowed up.

  • I get creeped out watching it. they seem to manufacture reasons for male male hugging...like some nambla dude is writing it

I'm just reading this tread and hoping for spoilers.

Phatboy if you had any balls I'd meet you at the AFA Boxing gym and have Coach Weichers put some gloves on us.

hahahaha i loved the babyface turn and WWE flippin allusions. Totally agreed. I'm just waiting to Noah shows us who he really is - the alien leader.

I'm still watching and enjoy it. the kid ben is freaking me out though. i can't understand anything he says and it sounds like he misses being a harnassed alien kid.

and haha right when i saw henry czerny pop up i knew he was going to be bad. i remember him from the tudors and mission impossible. but he just came out of NOWHERE and all of a sudden was obssessed bringing the kids to a safehouse.

  • i really hope we are done with every episode being kid centric. and i cant believe they didnt execute everyone from the collaborators group.

    AlphaOmega

  • Sounds like the last two episodes will definitely involve what's happening to the kids. Having said that, I see the last couple of episodes getting a little better from the first few.

    SATerp

  • last night's was pretty damn good.

how could they kill mike off like that? and HOF hal was bad ass.

i wonder when ricky/ben turn back into aliens?

    rufreshterps

  • The casting did great on Ricky and Jimmy (the kid who messed up the Armory mission). Those two kid characters are highly annoying and creepy.

Why would Pope save the kids? He hated that group so much?

Definitely looking forward to the last two episodes.

    NumbaOneStunna

  • They're definitely trying to give Pope the han solo "honorable bad ass" kind of vibe. I'd definitely like this show more if they took it in a darker direction like having Pope cut the throat of the guy who wanted to stab him and having them execute the collaborators.

  • that they let the formerly harnessed kids wander around unwatched annoys the crap out of me

its not like they don't know about the radio signals and all the odd comments those kids make

  • i really like the way the show is going.

but don't they know ricky is sketchy as shit, i mean he doesn't talk at all, when his dad died he didn't care at all and then he was drawing alien skidder porn.

the last episode is going to be good and i'm glad they renewed the show for another season.

  • This was a really good episode.
    - You gotta figure this attack is going to be a major fail.
    - Loved the intro of the tall, biped alien. I liked how in the scene where the resistance first sees them, the tall alien stares up at them through binoculars like it heard them.
    - The doctor was pretty smart in linking Ben's hardnening to examining a skitter more closely. Opens up an array of possibilities. Also, is Rick's alien garble coming from the harnessed skitters or the tall aliens.
    - Interesting they were able to elicit a bit of sympathy for the skitters because of the harness discovery.
    - They also throw into question Weaver's steadiness - also you learn a little more about Weaver. Opens up the possibility of seeing a Mrs. Weaver down the road.
    - Curious why Karen gets escorted by the tall alien rather than a skitter. You know Hal is going to make a stupid emotion error for Karen.
    - They should pretty much never trust another human outside of their group...ever.
    - Pope is the most intriguing character in the show. Now, the question seems to be when he will fraction the resistance with his own followers. When that comes, you know Matt will have to choose between his Dad and Pope.

    NumbaOneStunna

  • With the discovery of harnessed skitters, this convo gets put into a new light:
Dr. Harris: “What do you want from us?”
Skitter: “You want to hurt me”
Harris: “We just want to know why you’re here. So what do you want?”
    Skitter: “Let me go”
    Harris: “No, can’t do that”
Skitter: “This child is one of ours”
Harris: “Not anymore, we cut off his harness”
Skitter: “Then I’ll be punished. Help me”
Harris: “How can we help you?”
    Skitter: “Kill me”

I caught up on the show and I generally like it. This was one of the few things that bugged me though. Either let it be known why he is or if you're not going to, like this show did, then don't make it so obvious he is up to no good and what is probably going on

  • the original star trek had this plot, except it took one episode and not all summer

    winterps

  • lol so they are still trusting the black kid because he didnt go with the aliens?

    AlphaOmega

  • The finale was disappointing. The whole first hour was an unneeded mutiny drama that seemed to come out of nowhere. LOL at the 3rd in command army grunt who gets beat up by the Professor and dies in the offensive. That was all-star caliber one-episode gig for that actor.

So, are they hinting that skitters are kids? I was hoping that the skitters were another alien race enslaved by the tall freaks. If they are formally kids, couldn't that one skitter have communicated that through Ricky? Also, why would the skitters be acting all maternal (petting kids heads) if they were just children?

If I were Tom, no way I would have gone. He's gonna come back with an enlarged poop chute. I would've shot that tallie and grabbed the girl.

Almost all the bruthahs are dead. The stereotype continues...

If I were in the 2nd Mass, I would spend all my time trying to bone Maggie.

    NumbaOneStunna

  • the skitters could be a mix of kids and some other alien race they conquered.

i figured they are setting up a new type (half kid/half skitter or alien or whatever) and use this new type/category instead of black/asian/white/etc for the 'race related' story-lines kinda like in BSG

anyway, why is spielberg involved in this? does he really need more money? so why put his name on such a half-assed show?
