    very obvious

    Batista was also an option.

nahh. Batista would never leave a hooker dead on the floor.

  • Didn't dexter see gellar at the college before he/Travis killed that professor. I remember him saying "there he is" before going in.

  • Dexter leaned his head back and closed his eyes, then Travis said...There he is!

Travis said, "There's Geller." and Dexter said, "Let's go."

"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."

  • Missed that but that would make sense

  • Finally caught up with the new season. Interested to see what's gonna happen in the finale. I doubt that Harrison is going to die but something tells me that somebody important is going to. I also think that either Deb is going to save Dexter is some way...it would just fit with the whole Dexter/Deb situation.

I wish Travis would just kill off Laguerta, I really can't stand her

  • the entire 'deb sleeps with inferior / inappropriate men because she is in love with her brother' completely creeped me out even though i know they used to be real life h+w

also, what did the video game dude do to the ice killers hand before shipping it to dexter? is that to set up the following season?

They've definitely been hinting at Deb/Dexter the whole season, but, yeah, it's still really weird to see.

Not sure exactly why he was doing it, but it looked like Louis (?) was tracing some of the lines on the palm. I'm really wondering what exactly they're getting out with him. It doesn't seem like it's something that can be resolved in one episode, so it might carry over into next season.

Also, my biggest disappointment so far this season has been Dexter not banging Batista's sister. Such a waste.

Well, I mean, that’s what it is. I doodoo and then listen to Katy Perry.

Yeah she's smokin but it's too bad that Travis is gonna find her and kill her to get a hold of Harrison.

As for Louis and the Ice Truck Killer hand, I think it's gonna play a role in the very end of the episode and carry into next season for sure. Whatever he drew on the palm of the hand must mean something to Dexter.

  • I think it poor script writing to place a young child at risk. just too easy. the equivalent of using "Hitler" or "Nazi" in a political argument.

    BCiB

  • I think Batista's sister gets whacked, and Batty is gonna go bat shit next season (maybe binge like Quinn and roles will be reversed, Quinn is the serious one, Batista is the out of control one).

Dexter and Deb won't hook up.

    Dex's kid won't die.

Maybe the new dude from Chicago gets iced, but I was starting to like his character.

As for the computer nerd, you guys are right. I think he's the main villain in the next season or something. I think it would be too far-fetched for them to say Dexter had ANOTHER brother (and one he didn't know about), but the dweeb has to know Dex is a serial killer and has to have some kind of tie to him. Or maybe he was so upset that Dex crapped on his video game idea, the feeling turns from hero to foe much like Riddler in the Val Kilmer Batman flick.

Of course knowing this show, I am probably wrong on all of these.

I don't know if he's Dexter's brother, but I definitely think he knows Dexter's a serial killer. He's obsessed with Dexter, and he's some sort of super-genius that seems to be able to hack his way through everything. Wouldn't be surprised if he heard about the Bay Harbor Butcher and just put the pieces together on his own.

Well, I mean, that’s what it is. I doodoo and then listen to Katy Perry.

  • the line from the computer nerd that struck me - paraphrased

you are right dexter, i need to act on these things in the real world

since he made a video game for serial killers, it seems he's ready to get killing

yup. he's going to start killing others to be dexter's counterpart (like the movie Unbreakable) or he'll try and become Dexter's partner but Dex finds out he's a pyscho.

could be a fun angle, but i want to know what (if any) ties he has to Dex.

    rufreshterps

  • i'm not getting the ties to dexter vibe at all (other than fan boi)

now that you mention it, dexter only spent a minute looking at the video game; what if the game was a re-creation of dexter's serial killer life? for example, you have to attain xyz status before doakes appears in the game (then you can kill him)

the nerd dude might know everything from his computer exploits and tell deb unless dex behaves...

    winterps

  • Anything and everything involving Deb just turns me off. I think she's a terrible character, and the gal who plays her is a terrible actor.

it seems like he may be a lead in for the next season. also, i agree w/ you in that i don't see a connection b/w him and dex, however, he probably knows about dex.

  • What makes everyone think Louis will be a main character/plot for next season? Unless he becomes a full-fledged member of the Miami Homicide Unit, I don't see his character being a killer (or trying to frame Dexter) and therefore his character is useless.

    The Fox

  • the writing this season has been a complete clusterfuck

the guy is too young to be Dexter's brother but I think he's some kind of freak that investigated every piece of info about the ice truck killer and figured out Dexter's involvement

Good. Things. Do. Not. Happen. For. D.C./MD. Sports.

  • No way the forensics intern is more than an obsessive wack-job who has a fascination with serial killers. He doesn't know about Dexter's dark passenger (yet!), nor is he related to him other than what is apparent.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the video message Dexter sent to Travis. Why would he leave an evidence trail like that??? It makes no sense and the plot device was completely unnecessary.

I thought I imagined that...I can hear him explains it to his sister (it's a trap; didn't have time to clear it w you first)

I don't think the intern is related to Dexter either, but, he is fascinated w/ Dexter and I think he will be the main villain next season.

No doubt. The season will end with the complication of the ITK hand and Debra/Dexter dynamic changing in some way.
