Max Moon says fuck you!
Jimmy Snuka says Fuck You
It's easy to look back now and ask that, but that's all we knew. Even knowing what I do now, I think it's still pretty awesome. Faces were faces and heels were heels. You just had rivalries and those kept being recycled.
I loved NWA. Rock 'n Roll Express vs. Midnight Express was epic. Horsemen. Freebirds. More tag teams back in the day. It's a lost art.
Wrestling then > wrestling now, and its not even remotely close. Ring psychology. Kayfabe. Less bullshit, more action. No triple h. Give me world class, crocketts nwa, uwf over this crap, no need to apologize for it.
That's among the most racist things I've ever seen. And I'm closely following the Republican races for the House this year. I mean, seriously, how many people gave that the go ahead? I get that wrestling is for dumb people, or for people that know it's dumb and that's why they enjoy it, but multiple people thought that was ok?
I felt like I should have issued an amber alert for myself, just in case
LOVE THIS THREAD
This one slays me for some reason
the greatest entrance theme of all time
Do you think that this guy in the video actually really cares about racial stereotypes? Remember this is the same guy who created Cryme Tyme.
Vince McMahon says something to John Cena. This could have been racist if John Cena was a black man. hahaha it's very funny though
Also the same guy who had one of his top tag teams of the 2000s pretend to be thieving Mexicans with the slogan/song of "WE LIE, WE CHEAT, WE STEAL!"
I'm not sure Vince McMahon is going to be winning any lifetime achievement racial relations awards.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
The mexicools came to the ring driving lawnmowers lol...
here is the donwload link for the song enjoy!!!!

Edge returning to win the title at Survivor Series 2008 is one of the best mark-out moments I can remember.
Edge Returns at Survivor Series 08 and win the WWE Championship
I don't want to give the impression that I don't think wrestling is immensely enjoyable to watch, or that I would like to see anything change. In fact, I think it's more enjoyable now that I realize how offensive it is. But holy shit, that was, uh, unwaveringly bold.
I use to love tag team matches. The Steiners, Legion of Doom, Harlem Heat, the Bushwackers.
I thought I was the only one who felt this way. What's more awesome than 2 roided-out monsters beating the shit out of each other for 15 minutes? 4 ROIDED-OUT MONSTERS BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF EACH OTHER FOR 15 MINUTES!!!!
ZOMG that totally reminds me of when Raven and Kanyon legit broke the neck of one of the Villanos, IV or V or XXXIIII or whatever. Everyone was concerned for like 5 minutes, and then they rolled out a replacement Villano the next week like nothing ever happened. What a cold, cold world they exist in.
Edited to add what I think is the video of the accident, but I'm not particularly interested in watching it.
WCW Nitro. September 21, 1998 (Boston, MA)
Yup, it's THAT bloody match. Accident with Villano IV, when Chris and Raven try to do a Double Move (Neckbreaker and fallen Powerbomb at same time), but discord in time and almost broke poor Rey Mendoza jr. What can I say? Sh*t happen.

And that train of thought leads me straight down the tracks that end with an abrupt crash at the WCW Nitro Grill in Vegas, with my undoubtedly horrified family unwilling passengers along for the ride. Except for my brother, he loved that fucking Diamond Dallas Page burger or whatever atrocity they served up at that tribute to America's ability to rationalize brutality.
Sean Michaels vs. Razor Ramon Wrestlemania 10. Ladder Match. Might be my favorite match ever.
Scott Hall > Razor Ramon
No. You were closer with the Ron Paul > Romney comments.
Scott Hall was the man. he was the first guy ever to make being a heel cool. He gets credit for that.
anyone else follow the iron sheik on twitter? if you dont, u r not the real and deserve it the old country way.
He didn't last long in WWE, but I always really liked Elijah Burke's theme song
This is a (looped) version of Elijah Burke's titan tron. It features his FULL theme song "Don't Waste My Time" from the latest album.
This "match" was hilarious for me and my high school friends. Awesome PPV as well.
FWIW, the Backlash swinging hooks was one of the best sets ever.
I found this gem on youtube. Not sure how I ever missed it, but this has to go down as the best entrance ever, even topping the NWO's best entrances.
