Congrats to the 2011 Suqueboard WPT Champion: Amyeg
Would you be uncomfortable with a girl in the locker room? Because unless you're scared the gay guy is going to try and rape you, there isn't much of a difference.
Not at all, I know some gay people and theyre cool. There is also a 0% chance a gay would ever be attracted to me so I'm ok with it.
Honestly, yeah I probably would be. But not enough to prevent me from using it.
Hell no, if it was just a random guy, that's probably happened alot. But if I knew that a specific guy was gay, it might make me react in one of those pretend not to notice but can't stop looking kind of ways.
The better question is, would a gay guy ever be comfortable with carlterp?
Common decency says no.

I hate you.
Well it depends, is his weenie sticking up?

I played with gay players on my high school football team, One was a tackle who went to Notre Dame, and when it was discovered that he was a gay football player at ND, he was asked to leave or at least leave the football team. Another fellow who was molested as a child by an older relative on a regular basis grew up to raise a family and then just came to the realization that his marriage didn't work because he was gay and he divorced her and came out in his 50's. I had no clue about any of it until he came to a high school reunion and told us his story.
At the same time, back then everyone pretty much dressed the same and behaviors were not flamboyant. No one was overtly homophobic because no one was overtly homosexual in those days. Society has changed and there seem to be many more classifications for cliques today than in years past and the internet age seems to want to nail everyone into a category when in high school and college most people are still trying to work their sexuality out (responsibly for the most part). I knew tons of guys who dated in HS and College only to finally just come out and realize they were gay. But in the lockerroom there wasn't much mention or thought of sex and advanced gaydar that many of you seem to possess was not in our lexicon. Carry on.
Would the girl be uncomfortable w a guy in the locker room?

I would be uncomfortable with you in the locker because I hate being around guys like you. So if your gay, I guess the answer would be yes.
Other gays....not so much
Then I thought; why would CALTERP be in the locker room? Someone has to pick up the dirty towels and sweaty bandages.
Similar to Eli, but at work where we had a gym, not football locker room, there were several open gays (men) that worked out and showered in the facility. Wasn't an issue, w/nothing of a sexual nature inviolved when they were there.
What was a bit uncomfortable was when a group of us (about 10) went on a business trip and the gay person (call him Joe) decided to bring along his significant other. They went and did their own thing after work, until the end of the week, when we went out together for out last meal. Joe had suggested a seafood place, on the beach, which had good reviews so we all decided to go there maintaining the bond of our group.
It was basically a Blue Dolphin (Rehobeth beach - gay hangout) situation, which made us somewhat uncomfortable, as Joe was indicating to us, yes I am gay and here is the group of people I hang out with. On the other hand, for him it was part of the way he lives his life, something I would ordinarily not see. So we had a good meal and made the best of it.
Joe had sent his point across to us, in our face. Privately no one really liked it and devolved away from Joe more and more, same as you would do w/anyone else who gets in your face.
Anal penetration can be uncomfortable but I guess the hard floor in a locker room could add to the discomfort, so, yes.
Quite frankly, no. I won't have a problem as long as that person doesn't try to rub his gayness on my face.
Wow. This is NOT roomy!
Me? I would be more uncomfortable in a locker room with you and jdgreger!
A whole restaurant full of gay people? You must have been frightened for your life.
Chances are if you go to a gym then there are gay guys in your locker room. You just don't know it. Do the guys who are uncomfortable think they're such hot shit that a gay guy is just going to plow them from behind when they bend over to put their socks on or something?
Assuming you go to a gym, there are already several. And they laugh about your small dick.
carlterp's life is just a giant Unpopular Opinions Thread.
If it's on a team, they are just there to do a job, same as you. Don't be a dick about it.
If it's at the gym, he's just trying to work out, same as you. Don't be a dick about it.
I don't know why some people are so wrapped up in what other people do in private.
I would have much more of a problem with an outwardly homophobic teammate.
I would be uncomfortable only if he didn't make any advances.
Since I'm married it's not a big deal but believe it or not women do not routinely proposition me.
I'd hate to think that yet another sexual population does not find me worth the effort.

This thread on Pack Pride would result in very different responses.
Good point. Double rejection is tough to swallow (no pun intended). Main reason I could never have a 3 some: Id hate to disappoint two women at once.
Isn't carlterp the liberal equivalent of livewell? This really doesn't seem to compute here...
