Just finished watching it. The stuff with the kids and christmas was hilarious and the scene at New Years was completely effed up.
He is sooooooooo compelling. Even when he's not funny.
Man I love Louis.
Louie is by far the best comedy (dunno if you can really call it a comedy tbh) on tv.
His direction and editing is just masterful.
Not to mention the writing and acting, of course.
The scene that had him fixing the doll's eyes ruined me laughing. It went to another level when he started melting down the crayons to re-paint the doll.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
Yeah, I don't think you can call Louie a comedy. That last episode was pretty damn good. It's like when he got his own show, he decided he would use it as a medium to share his occasional slightly deranged thoughts, unique outlook on life, etc. instead of doing a show that would appeal to a more mainstream audience. I like the show (lots of WTF moments) but I imagine it's not that popular.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Shit on my father's balls
I loved the Ping duck story since it flashed me back to the daughters last season BEGGING Louie to keep the ducklings.
"Daaaaaaadddddyyyyy....just onnnnnne ducklingggg...?"
FX announced today that the next season of Louis (typically due out in summer 2013) will not be released until Spring 2014. Evidently Louie needs more time.

Dammit, I need a time machine to watch Season 4 of Louie?!?
This guy does a pretty good job with the mannerisms and delivery:
After the success of his recent HBO Special Louis C.K. goes old school with a re-imagining of classic jokes!
True. But so bad at voice
Louie has an official return date now: Monday, May 5th, at 10 P.M.
FX is running 2 half-hour episodes back-to-back every week, for 7 weeks (14 episodes this season compared to 13 in each of the first three seasons).
If the May 5th date seems familiar to you, it's because the 24 mini-series also debuts that night with a two-hour doubleheader.
Oh, and credit to the Onion AVClub for that information.
