If rommy is the cop, he's the dumbest cop ever.
He can't even be that dumb. Why would any cop think it would be a good idea to investigate someone they know is mafia? It just makes absolutely no sense why he would even consider wondering if Smiley is mafia.
Based on rommy's postings, I'm likely to believe he thinks he's a centaur too. That doesn't mean keeping him in the game is going to help the civs win.
I'm fine with leaving rommy alive this round, it doesn't really make a difference to me. Either I live and do something useful or the angel protects rommy and I hang out in the dead chat and bitch about the idiot civs.
that makes sense but its possible that gooner was waiting for a confirmation from the cop to say he received the message. Gooner seemed upset that we were going to re-roll which made me think he was either mafia or a civ special. Honestly, i came back from lunch and read that we have 2 cops on day 1 and I just assumed it was a mod error.
If it helps my case, I'm willing to promise that I won't investigate rommy.
So both guys think they are the cop, so we shouldn't lynch one? The mod would obviously tell one that they aren't actually the cop.
I agree, but I also think it is more indicative of how dumb he is, rather than whether he is mafia or cop. It doesn't make sense to make the statement either way.
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
Lol, no mod has ever re-rolled a game because someone didn't confirm a PM before the game opened.
I really don't like all this behind-the-scenes stuff and its the kind of thing that leads to AA's and foolishness, but if rommy truly believes he is the cop then he should get that clarified because he's not. He may or may not be a centaur.
I was trying to say i could see people being confused if they got a message which says they are cop but that was intended to be prior to the re-roll. Hopefully after reading my posts rommy and smiley will confirm with the game mod their role.
Just majo Rommy and move on.
Smiley coming out day 1 as cop with angel = defensible move
rommy coming out day 1 as cop with angel = worst move ever.
How in the hell are you so sure? I know you are better than this.
Rommy was uber defensive when Toogs voted for him 10 seconds after his reveal. He is obviously faking.
Yeah, I mean I'm not usually a day 1 lynch or night kill, but if rommy really was a civ and wasn't on the block to be lynched then with no watchers there's about a 0.1% chance that mafia would kill him at night. That being said, his back and forth about the wisdom of the reveal made him look like he was allowing himself to be convinced that it was a good move even for him.
No. Overthinking. I have never seen a mod wait to start a game for cop confirmation.
ok got it one of them is lieing.
Titan's posts scream dirty to me.
I think the chances of getting the right cop would be greater if it was done here than if the angel did it himself.
No. The cop comes out in this format no matter who it is.
This is what Titan is referring to. Obviously I'm biased but I also agree that this looks like mafia that is pissed off that someone immediately doubted their play.
I don't disagree, but it is solely because I just cannot see Rommy being the cop here.
At least we're reasonably certain that rommy isn't the angel.
I see I'm already in the lead (and that was prior to me questioning if rommy or smiley may be mistaken). I have a meeting at 1:30 and will miss the deadline since its been moved. I'm a safe kill so don't worry about killing off the angel.
