This is like 5 games in a row as mafia that I have had to miss most of the first round, it's killing me. Although if I had known the deadline was noon I would have played differently.
I thought he should have been AA'd for it

Jtp, thanks for not playing Sheep!
I agreed with you then and I agree with you now. I didn't think discussing it during the game thread was appropriate, but I definitely think that mentioning PM was AA worthy. And not even of the recent, "What is AA worthy?" discussions. I thought toogs should have been AA'd immediately. It worked out, but still, the "broken PM indicator" is lame as hell.

lol, the broken pm indicator happens all the time. I didn't mention the PM itself.
You guys are obsessed with AAs. Was it against the spirit of the game? No. That should be the end of it. Any and all pm and mod discussion should be allowed, real or fake. After a few games, no one will give anything like it any weight, and the mafia will stop doing that shit. For a while at least
please don't play with poetry
You have to ban PM talk - saying crap like "I am a civ, my PM says so" is just stupid, but people do it. Or, "My PM said...."
I am coming along with the idea of allowing the mod talk thing.
But just saying that means nothing. It is no different than if they said "I am a civ". Unless they screenshot the fucking pm, i dont see how it matters
there are good reasons for not quoting PM's.
Care to share?
number 1, mafia dont know the civ PM. It's not negotiable.
Hmm okay so it could clear civs to civs. Got it
I still stand by the wild west rules for mod interaction
Just send the standard civ PM to mafia so they know what it looks like as well. Problem solved.
That's true. okay another, it makes faking harder because you have to sound like the mod. There's just no benefit. It's not like we are having a rash of PM AA issues.
I mean, this game had the exact wording of the PM sent to every role in the initial post. Vanilla's did not receive a PM in this game, though.
I night talked twice. I will never learn.
That is true. Sorry to sidetrack the discussion- you are right, the problem is not pm's.
Another civ special majo'd????? What is wrong with you people?
