Yeah, that's more shocking and deplorable than considering Dorner to be a martyr or if you said that you think priests buggering altar boys isn't really so bad.
I'm speechless. And perhaps, a little brokenhearted.
And looks like one!
Someone I know (might've been reading it on this board or on facebook or heard in person, I don't remember) was at their intramural softball game over the summer and wondering why this homeless dude was just chilling and watching their game. Turns out its Ed Reed.
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
You would be top 5 people on this board I would think WOULDN'T make this comment.
I'm pretty sure Ed Reed is a crazy homeless person who just happens to own a house.
Wait, how tall is QT?
I also hated living in Maryland.

This is a really good profile of Ed Reed that explains, among other things, why he looks homeless.
Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed has pulled off an almost impossible feat in an era of information oversaturation. He's a superstar and surefire Hall of Famer who shuns the spotlight.
why? It's simple aesthetics. That's all I'm arguing. i think the flag is too busy.
I prefer simpler ones like California or Arizona or South Carolina. Although just glancing at all 50, MD's is clearly upper echelon because there are some horrific flags out there (basically anything with a seal)
He's not the talent that Babe, Mickey Mantle, DiMaggio, Gehrig were, etc, but he's the current face and will probably be remembers as an equal to them, and to some, above them.

There's not a Yankees fan older than about 15 who would agree with that statement. Yankees fans certainly love Derek Jeter, but none who have the slightest sense of baseball history would put Jeter on par with those names.
Unless your including Frank, I have a problem with the assertion that Cal isn't the best player to play for the Orioles. And if we're talking about "Best Oriole", I think Frank gets docked for only being here six seasons.
I can see why mike and others aren't the biggest fans of Cal. I think Brooks still holds the heart of many Baltimorons who remember him playing.
I personally think that Cal is the best to play here, but I could see one making an argument for any of the other HOFers as well.
I never saw him play but I really don't think Sonny Jurgenson was that good.
Isn't Palmer the best Oriole? Ray Lewis is pretty much like an actor playing an over the top preacher/athlete at this point.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Yeah, I used to be an Eagles fan before we got the Ravens and Ray just seems like he's doing a Reggie White impression.
Whining about bags of shit on your crippled cruise ship makes you the dumbest person ever for not just throwing it overboard.
Music is not that serious/important. Neither are sports.

I disagree strongly with Colfax and think the Maryland flag is awesome. That said, everyone's over the top love for slapping it on everything in the known world is weird and obsessive.
I know, hence why it's unpopular. But in the grand scheme, it's not that serious.
