If I had to pick a city it would be Tampa, Florida. Worst vacation ever. (At least I got to hang out with my family for extended minutes while in Tampa. They also had a great asian food buffet not far from the stadium).
nobody goes to tampa for tampa. they go to tampa for clearwater & the other beaches, which are pretty nice.
Phatboy if you had any balls I'd meet you at the AFA Boxing gym and have Coach Weichers put some gloves on us.

Tampa is a great vacation spot for Yankees fans wanting to catch spring training. Ybor City and Busch Gardens are the only other places worth visiting in Tampa.
like phelix said though, no one vacations in Tampa for Tampa.
"Flat" is definitely not a complaint I commonly hear about Salt Lake City. It takes about 4 seconds to drive from SLC into the mountains, and the eastern side of the city certainly isn't flat.
Next year's list will say
"Crowded and Expensive"
I've never really even thought of Detroit as a destination. I guess you could go there.
No, you can't. There is nothing. The downtown area basically consists of three stadiums, a hard rock, and somewhere there is a crappy casino or two. Windsor, ON is 1000% a better vacation destination than Detroit.
I spent 7 weeks in Salt Lake last year for work and had a great time. Not a huge amount of bars, but the ones they did have were nice, and there's always tons of stuff to do in the mountains. We went to one of the ski resorts for Octoberfest and had a blast. If you have a rental car (or not, but I don't feel like subjecting my own car to this), drive out to Bonneville and tear across the salt.
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
Yeah, why would anyone vacation in Detroit, SLC, or Tampa?
Tampa has awesome strip clubs and a good casino but not much else in my experience.
i used to dread going to tampa for my old job. the seminole is solid but all the strip clubs seemed run down and extremely dirty. i never went in though.
Ybor City used to be nice. Ghetto garbage now. Just flew out of Tampa this afternoon. Proximity to great beaches, Mons Venus, Spring training & Cigar City Brewing are the reasons to go now, IMO.
Oh, and cheap as hell golf on great courses.
I've been to Detroit several times. You can feel the depression in the air the minute the airplane door is opened. It's just a horrid place.
At the ACCCG several years ago I stumbled into some Japanese restaurant at Ybor. They had life altering spicy octopus. Downtown Tampa is depressing, but you're 30 mins away from powder sand beaches.
I've been to Mons Venus 3 times and once sober. In my experience 75% of the girls look like Maxim models. No private dance rooms though so Justerp is probably F'd.
Tampa's the only place where I had a ho come to my motel room door looking for business (admittedly a shitty motel.)
SLC's awesome for skiing, especially if your budget is too cheap to stay in Park City or something. You don't go to vacation in the city itself or anything, but it's convenient to some great places.
Three casinos. Windsor has two. There's also that Auto Show thing.
Windsor also has bingo and zero black people, so maybe you are right with the 1000% thing.

Detroit Hustles Harder
They are not run down inside and although Mons has extreme top shelf talent, the lack of the back rooms creeps me out. Some of the other places' back rooms are really anything goes.... Makes the clubs in Vegas look like you are at a minor league strip club. Ruined every other strip club trip not in Tampa.
Thee Dollhouse is a top quality "entertainment" venue........kicks Mons ass
Forget the strip clubs - Tampa has tons of hot women of loose moral character. Nowhere else in the country like it for a single guy.
And that's really the only reason to go there. It's boring as hell otherwise.
I have a cousin who lives in Salt Lake City and it really isn't bad. Probably the best place to go on a ski trip. Better than Denver in many ways as the ski slopes are right outside of SLC. Snowbird and Alta are literally just a few minutes from downtown. Slopes in Colorado are an hour or more outside of Denver.

The airport is depressing.
I've seen full contact in the front rooms of the Mons.
Isn't using Detroit and destination together and oxymoron?
