Great P&R episode. Seems sitcoms around politics can go on forever.
Yup the fat people of Pawnee will always be funny.
The Office was brutal this week after a decent premiere.
In a way I am glad Community is off the abyss known as NBC Thursdays as BBT had great ratings and everything is sinking. Too bad they moved it to Fridays.
The Office was fine (didn't like the Dwight/Nellie plot). Neither episode so far was great, but Daniels is setting up some plots that have potential.
I'm on board with Jon Glaser having a recurring role on Parks and Rec
That was one of the best Office cold openings ever.
Was awesome, and the rest of the episode was alright too. P&R was really good too.
Looks like 30 Rock is really ratcheting up the absurdity for its final season. It seemed more over-the-top than usual to me last night.
I don't know what you mean, but it had the cadence of a joke.
Nothing worse than a suprise Lemon party.
P&R was great. I worried about the Ben and April dynamic, but they held their own. Her character is hilarious
April is my favorite character on any of those shows right now (take Ron Swanson out of the running of course).
Not Thursday related but NBC canned Animal Practice and is putting Whitney in its time slot (Wednesdays at 8). I watched Animal Practice, it had its moments, I'm not upset about it going away but I would have kept watching if they picked it up for a full season.
Definitely not a great show, but Bobby Lee's character alone made it better than 'Whitney'.
Community continues to sit on the sidelines, waiting to be called off the bench.
Speaking of bad shows, how terrible is Up All Night? I love the cast and I've given it a ton of chances, but I don't think that show has ever gotten more than a polite chuckle out of me. It just seems way more interested in being subtle and cute than funny.
Also, great to have Always Sunny and The League back. Always Sunny has definitely hit its creative peak but it's still good for some great laughs, and The League just knocks it out of the park every week.
Back to Thursdays, I thought The Office (directed by Walter White) and P&R were both really good last night.
NBC has around 50 comedies that all suck in the ratings, how many of them getting bumped off will it take for Community to get called up? This is DJ Adams all over again.
One prevailing internet TV guy (Sepinwall, etc.) theory is that NBC is holding Community for when 30 Rock finishes its half season, so they can throw it at 8pm Thursday again and not worry about some other show getting destroyed in the ratings.
So the point of the office this season is to turn Andy into Michael Scott?
Not a jack ass. I am a 4 star poster on RCMB - spartanfan48413
Andy was the worst possible choice as the new boss and it was easy to see what would happen.
I like that they've stopped trying to make him likable in any way. He's the weak link in the show, but at least they've taken the emphasis off of him and moved it back towards Jim/Pam and Dwight (and the ensemble as a whole).
So that was the Colbert episode? What a waste.
I really liked Liz as Jack's "chum" at the Republican fundraisers.
Thought Parks and Rec was great too. When Ben was asked "what are you going to do next" and he responded "get a chicken parm sandwich and watch blade runner," it fully convinced me that the writers at least partially base that character on me.

Joel Mchale tweeted that Community will return 2/7/13 at 8pm Thursday nights. After 30 Rock finishes its half season run.
Good for Community IMO, better than being on Friday.
