Didn't a young married couple get picked up there by another couple, then get murdered? I think the dead couple got cut up and thrown into multiple trash bags, though the cops found a number of the body parts in a land fill.
It is filled with a sea of humanity, most of whom are drunk and usually horney!

I've lived in Maryland for 22 years now and I've never been :(
I remember that story, but had no idea it started at Seacrets.
Me either, doesn't help that I've been to Ocean City exactly once since I was 21
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
Some girl is suing seacrets for a million because they threw her out (for being drunk)and she was raped ouside the club. They did catch the dude w dna evidence

I thought I would hate Seacrets solely based on this message board. It's been fun every time I've gone.
lol @ me not knowing anything about P.O.V. in D.C.
It's competing because that club in Vegas and NYC is competing with 20+ other huge clubs in the same area, many of which are doing far better than Seacrets.
Marquee is #1 on this list - I ran across this article on it a couple weeks ago - it's a fun read (and fairly long.)
If youve heard about it or stood in line to get in. Marquee, the superest of the superclubs, sprawls over an astonishing 60,000 square feet. It allows you to party very, very hard
98.1 broadcasts from there. has to be the best DJ gig in the world- they have a balcony that looks out over the thousands of chicks in bikinis.
The impressive thing about the Vegas clubs is that they are only open a few nights every week and even then are only really popular for one of those nights based on my experience living there. If you don't know which night to go, you will show up to a (relatively) empty club.
hating on seacrets and never going just because it's filled with tourists is dumb. it's not like you want to spend most of your nights there, but there is just nowhere else you can get that sort of experience.
rolling up on a boat is the only way to do seacrets, btw.
I was a doorman at Seacrets in '94. Sharing stories will only make me cry. It was the best four months of my life, and that's a distinction that won't ever be beaten.
So how many people do this place holds? I know the upper echelon Vegas clubs holds 3,000+. Marquee holds over 6,000. Ibiza in DC holds 2,000+.
Please, tell stories!
How true this is. Thursday nights and Friday nights are the best though. On Monday night I went to Marquee and didn't have to wait in a line. Awesome.

He's saying (I think) that different clubs are popular on each night of the week, not that Thursday/Friday is the best night everywhere (The Bank on Sundays, XS on Mondays, Pure on Tuesday, etc.) Pretty sure a lot of them aren't even open on Thursdays.
I expect Capitale to be on the list next year. Seems like all the ballers are going there to party. Warning: If you're a big girl, don't show up. They won't let you in.
I don't think Love is open any longer. Studio 54 is closed in Vegas.

There was one of those cable documentaries covering the story, in retrospect. The perps were married but turned on one another. Very gruesome story, as they came to OC to kill some people for kicks.
The article is blocked at work so I can't see the list. The Rhino and O Gardens have to be on there if it includes titty bars. They're open 24/7 and charge outrageous prices.
If a club in DC is only letting in attractive girls, then the club is going to be empty. It's amazing a big city like DC can have so few attractive girls, and also so many ugly girls who think they are attractive.
Its only 'nightclubs'....here's a secondary source with the list
If you had to guess, which of your favorite nightclubs would you suppose grosses the most revenue over the course of the year? How much do you think the highest grossing club in the United States makes? A recent study sponsored by Technomic, a food industry consulting firm, reveals all to you, dear reader.

Capitale isn't that big. Holds about 400 people. So they should have no problem with crowd control.
The short story is these 3 hot girls wanted to go to the club with their oversized friend. The official excuse was they were not on the guest list. Later they found out they didn't get in because of the big girl.
I agree that the women on average in DC are unattractive. You'll see a hot one every once in awhile but it's rare.
wtf mystery post disappeared and edited and changed quotes
anyways Love closed in 2012 I think but this is ranked strictly by 2012 revenues. I'd expect EchoStage to appear in 2013 if this list happens again.
I'm surprised 1OAK in Vegas didn't make the list. The club opened before Marquee and holds over 2,500 people. Extremely nice and hype club.
