Ocean City, Md.?!
I find this hard to believe, considering it is making money less than half the year.
What are the highest grossing nightclubs in America? The fact that people are once again starting to waste insane amounts of money every we
have you ever been there?
8 out of 10 in Vegas. Wow.
I always freak out at that Seacrets. Just a money making machine.
It is a money making machine. So not surprised.
there has to be a 0% chance he has ever been there.
whenever i describe it to someone i always say... so what ever you are picturing in your head right now, isn't even close.

a beach spot like that clocks g's seven nights a week all summer
most other clubs are only making real money thurs-sat
And all day, not just in the evening/at night.
I agree it makes a lot of money. I just don't see how it can compete with a Vegas/NYC club that is raping its guests with bottle service.
That place is a douchebag magnet, but if you ever go by there in the summer, they are basically printing their own money.
I don't know what you mean, but it had the cadence of a joke.
Mecca of da Eastern Shore
Doesn't surprise me at all.
I'm more surprised that DC doesn't have more spots on the list. You would think people around here have expendable $ to blow.
i didnt read how they came up with the list...and was just assuming they were going by "club hours"....if they are counting business hours then it shoudlnt be even a little suprising
It's not just the summer months either
I think it opens around st. patricks day and still gets a lot business through september. There are actually a lot of people down there on weekends from spring break through memorial day and then again in the fall
the MD association of realtors has their convention every year in september in OC and those people throw money around like crazy. In the fall there are a lot of other events in OC that bring people there.

seacrets is actually open year round. I've been there in february before and while it wasn't packed, it had substantial numbers. Site says it's open thurs-sun right now
It's actually pretty fun off season (too much for this OWG in summer), and I have a many-years weakness for the jerk chicken there.
I actually go there at least one day/night every year. Mrs. Fletch lives to dance, so that's always a stop.
Look, I get that it is basically a giant ATM, I'm just kinda stunned that it can compete with other parts of the country.
Yeah a lot of those clubs are open like 10P-3A with much smaller capacities

LOL at #63: LOVE – Washington, DC $5-10 Million
I was a charter member when it opened, our beach condo was literally on the other side of the fence. Haven't been back for a long time.
My parents' spot is right across the street, so I go based on what band is playing (love me some Jah Works). There's also a like 2-3 hour gap between when the daytime drunks leave and the nightclub people show up where it's a very chill spot to have a few drinks and hear some music before moving on.
Seacrets also has a private army larger than that of many nations
A seven nation army, if you will.
Seacrets, Jamaica USA!
When I lived in OC one summer we actually never stepped foot in there.
An industry research handbook I have for 2011 lists it ranked somewhere between #6-11 and at 25-35 M per year.
i never considered myself a club guy, but i've been to 13 places on that list including 3 of the top 4
NYCTerp is now OCTerp
Doesn't it also have its own radio station? I seem to recall a tower when you park/drive by the place.
