if you care about environmental/free trade/other such nonsense issues, you can't beat Costa Rican coffee for price vs standards.
Yeah, we drink Folgers too. I FUCKING LOVE IT. Seriously, though, its good coffee. It isn't even all that bad if you reheat it.
I dont know much about keurigs, other than that my thermos doesnt fit into the area where you put the cup
see, cheapest/easiest would be instant coffee. no offense to serps and i'm definitely not a coffee snob, but instant is full on crap. so is dunkin donuts, imo. really weak coffee. serps you gotta upgrade my brotha.
Dead on. People slept on how much smoking was just an excuse to take a break from work 5 times a day.
You realize there are literally thousands of available options for instant coffee, right? How can you say instant is too week? Just get a much darker roast.
It tilts the shit out of me when we have 30 blends(standard drip, Keurig, Flavia, Cappuccino, etc...) in the coffee room 5 feet away and my coworkers go upstairs or downstairs to get a $3 coffee. I understand if you are getting some sort of espresso drink, but why coffee? We literally have Dunkin Donuts drip coffee on our floor, and I see dozens of DD coffee cups throughout the day.
That said Cafe Americano >>>>>>regular coffee.
If we're talking about the instant where you just pour hot water over crystals/chunks, then yeah, that is complete crap coffee. They have that all over the UK in hotels and offices (since they love tea and think all coffee is crap anyway). I would rather take normal coffee that has been sitting around for 3 days and reheat it than drink instant coffee.
In Obama's America, can't we just take a break 5 times a day to pray to Allah?
i said instant was crap. i said dunkin donuts is weak. honestly i haven't had instant in i don't know ho long, but it's instant coffee, man, it's like not even real.
Or just drink the Keurig stuff and go back to surfing the internet.
If you are a real boss, you only drink Australian Civet poop coffee.
I'm not an expert and only drink one cup in the morning to wake up. I did try a bag of this from Target and it is 1000% better than the Maxwell House I had been drinking.
I'm confused by what you mean by instant coffee. I have the ground in the filter with the waters in the machines and the buttons and it goes gurgle gurgle tsssss for like 3-6 minutes and then hot coffee comes out. That's not instant.
Also, it appears your "7" key making "s" noises mister Sticks my friend
this is wrong. you can 10000% taste the difference when a cup is fresh ground vs when it's not.
i like how this guy says "i want to drink better coffee" and everyone goes "DUDE ALL COFFEE IS THE SAME"
if you want to drink better coffee, buy a grinder. then save some money on cheaper beans. (or buy baller ass beans, I dont care). but seriously, coffee beans are like wine or bread or anything else: being exposed to air makes it get stale. and if your beans are pre-ground, then you will absolutely be drinking stale coffee. (more surface area).
if you do this and want to take another step, find a coffee store that roasts their own beans. then you're getting really fresh stuff. something like M.E. Swings or quartermaines in the DC area.
bad coffee is good. good coffee is REALLY fucking good.
Coffee is all about the caffeine. The darker the roast the less the caffeine.
For such a time as this.
I do one $3.00 americano from starbucks just about every morning but if there were no starbucks or some other omnipresent joint (and I don't even think starbucks is that great) I probably wouldn't drink coffee. No chance I'm making it at home. Just too much of a pain in the ass, especially cleaning whatever contraption you're using. I'd just go back to drinking soda or even tea for my caffeine fix.
Starbucks rolled out the christmas cups today. I'M NOT READY FOR THAT SHIT!
Not a jack ass. I am a 4 star poster on RCMB - spartanfan48413
lol, making coffee is too hard? you should get a keurig I bet your savings would cover the cost in a few months.
haha I'm the worst - I go for the cheapest Malbec, don't mind coffee being a few days old, and my favorite bread is potato bread
just dont get clean the coffee pot and/or get someone else to do it
instant coffee is something you spoon into a mug, pour in hot water and mix with a spoon. instant coffee. admittedly i didn't open your picture of folger's, but i know folger's is a leader in instant coffee, but perhaps they have ground too.
i pronounce your name serps when i see it. can't help it, bro.
getting beans that are 1 to 3 weeks from roast and grinding them right before brewing, you can definitely tell the difference.
that said, these days keurig/laziness wins out for me. put something in a machine and 30 seconds later you have a cup of coffee. only problem is that i used to drink 20 oz. cups of coffee and now it's like half of that.
Dag. We are so similar, you and I.
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
He posted a picture of a large tub of ground coffee that you put in a conventional home coffee maker.
1. Ok, we're good then. I don't use that, it only takes like 5 minutes to make a pot of coffee, and as I mentioned I fill a 32oz thermos each morning, so it's worth waiting a couple of mins.
2. I was just kidding, I figured your 7 key was working fine. Serps is tight, others prefer Yerps, but the actual magic is that is a "t" just in a really weird font.
