I went ten days with out power, heat, TV, home computer and email during that October nor'easter in New England. I did however charge my iphone at my office and used 3G and texting when the cell service wasn't out so I didn't meet the criteria. I could do it but it better be in the summer or fall and I need AC.
could only do it on vacation. couldn't do it just at my house.
eh, depends. I de-activated facebook in December...I'm sure I could do no technology for a week at least (not during March).
I don't think he means go full Amish... just no tv phone internet etc.
Premium isn't going to troll itself.
If I could play an instrument, I could probably survive. As it stands, lack of music (iPod, Pandora, spotify, etc.) may kill me.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
i'd be 2x the person I am now.
I couldn't do it voluntarily. I check the internet and turn on the tv impulsively so I would need a gigantic incentive to fix that behavior. But if you took them all away from me and took the choice out of my hands I don't think I'd go crazy or anything.
I did for a long time, it was called the 60's. We did have fire and the wheel, and some sort of black and white talkie box, I wonder whatever happened to that.
I couldn't do it for most of the year because my job is sitting in front of a computer all day. But when I'm at the beach for a week with my family, I almost do tech-free. I don't watch much TV, I rarely check my phone and I only occasionally check my e-mail. I think I could do it then.
