Well I just returned from pioneer pit beef. My gf, an impartial observer from brazil, favored her medium super pit beef w mustard and onions over the roast beef w provolone we had at dinic's in Philly last week. I was surprised...but suck it Philly I guess
I think I'm just gonna eat sandwiches all day to celebrate this important holiday.
Whether you prefer salami, pastrami, pepperoni or B-O-L-O-G-N-A, today is all about those precooked sliced meats Americans love to eat. It’s National Cold Cuts
Detroit Hustles Harder
You didn't even get the real sandwich at Dinic's.
Sorry, didn't see "pork roll egg and cheese" listed on the first post. Thanks for pointing it out to me. Oh, and these triple deckers are what I had in mind.

i find breakfast sandwiches to be kind of limiting due to the ingredients. i love them, but they wouldn't crack my top 40.
also, i'll refrain from being a douche and listing the great nyc spots (mainly because i haven't been to any of the ones listed here).
Pulled pork-Andy Nelson's
I just ate one and feel sorry for people who voted for cheesesteak.
BTW I tried the mustard based sauce on a few bites, and I've gotta say it was pretty good. Might have to rethink my blanket hatred of mustard. Another new horizon opened by this tourney.

WTF list them.
They ought to take the word fAst out of Fast Gourmet. Took a half hour for my Cuban moments ago. It was a quality sandwich but confirmed Cubans don't do a whole lot for me. Chinced me on the pickles a bit. Would have tanged it up a bit. The pressed bread was good as was the meat.
Pork roll is fucking disgusting. Bacon, egg and cheese all the way. Preferably on a garlic or egg bagel from THB.
It says "breakfast sandwiches".
Po Boy - 2 spots in New Orleans for different style Po Boys
Mahony's (Garden District) The Peacemaker: Fried Oysters, Bacon, Cheddar Cheese
Mother's (CBD) Roast Beef "Debris" Po-Boy
Nah that's the whole point--so people know where to go locally and when travelling
I find it infuriating when people call a club a triple decker. It's a double decker.
Call it a breakfast sandwich if you want, but Scrapple and cheese on English muffin at Captain Larry's in Locust Point is money
Buffalo Chicken and Italian at A. Litteri in Northeast DC
You know a place is good when their location sucks yet they are always packed

I just learned that it is pronounced "de-BRAY" wrt the gravy. I was saying it wrong the whole time.
For anyone in Sykesville, pit beef and pulled pork at the bullpen
Please list a website or at least a city along with your recommendations. If you just say a name I have no idea where it is unless I've already been there, in which case i wouldn't need your recommendation.

I enjoy many varieties of a breakfast sandwich, but living in Jersey forced me to like Taylor ham. I like bacon egg and cheese too. So it goes.
only communists dont like pork roll....its everything thats good in life in a piece of meat
Pulled pork - Corky's in Memphis http://www.corkysmemphis.com/
Only philly people do like it. It's basically sausage bologna. Disgusting.
Pork Roll and Cheddar sauce (not cheez wiz) on a hard roll from Barnacle Bill's in Rumson, NJ. is one of my favorite things ever.
I plan on adding lots of submissions when I get more time this evening and tomorrow. Great thread.
