Well MGMT at art attack was awful
Anyone going to Sweetlife? I'll be there; I'm pumped for Passion Pit.
Say what you want to about Wilco but Yankee Hotel Foxtrot was one of the greatest albums of the 2000- to 2010 decade. Toss in Nels Cline with their current line up and if you can't find something to like you must be brain dead.
12/28/2005 12 galaxys the essence of music maggot brain
Wilco is one of the best live bands I have ever seen and I've seen a holy assload of them. They are sick song writers and even better live. I would be shocked to hear that a MMJ fan does not like Wilco....especially considering they are better than MMJ....and I love MMJ.
The Columbia man accused of secretly videotaping two women inside their Ellicott City condominium last year was sentenced to 11 years in prison in Howard County Circuit Court Tuesday, according to States Attorney spokesman Wayne Kirwan.

I'm going. They posted set times on Instagram the other day. Think I'm doing Gary Clark jr, yeah yeah yeahs, foxygen, youth lagoon, passion pit, and Phoenix. Pretty nice little Saturday. GCJ is incredible live, and passion pit puts on a great show now too. Foxygen's lead singer flipped his shit at a SXSW showcase show and cancelled a few shows afterwards, so hopefully he's pulled it together since then.
**shameless plug alert**
livingsocial is putting on a concert / festival this summer up on Randall's Island in NYC.
Kind of a random mix of bands -- Aerosmith, Yeasayers, Joan Jett, and a few others -- but should be a good time.
If you use the promo-code "EMPLOYEE" you can get 10% off for the next few days
How long until this is a Living Social 1/2 off deal? The musical lineup is a joke.
getting down voted in a music thread for talking up Wilco...honestly didn't see that coming. I'll bet the 2 that downvoted have never seen Wilco.
Saw them at SXSW before his meltdown. They were awful.
Agree that GC Jr kills it live. Should be a good time.

Wilco is so good live. It's like watching the Bulls in the 1990s. They don't seem like they try that hard and still kick ass.
"The drummer for Maryland's pep band just freaked out: 'They're trying to slow the game down,' he screamed. 'Get up on them, get up on them.
this one is staying at full price...
but OMG ITS AEROSMITH WOOO

102 degrees in a sweltering field. Their decrepit fanbase isnt going to pay close to $100 to see a show in those surroundings. Id go if it was $39 or something just for the atmosphere and beer tastings, but I don't see the NYC hipsters paying big wood for that lineup. Yeasayer is cool, but not nearly a big enough name to draw a crowd.
They need to add the Black Keys (or similar stature band) to justify the price and expand the age group of the fanbase.
Saw Vampire Weekend last night. Solid as always. The new album is pretty good too.
From the new album 'Modern Vampires Of The City' out May 13th/14th. Pre-order now: http://smarturl.it/mvotcpreorder

The shindig in Baltimore looks solid. I'm a huge Gaslight Anthem fan (I'm seeing them next weekend in Jersey), plus the dropkick murphys, mighty mighty bosstones and Joan jett and the heartbreakers. Its September 14th, and umd is away. Tickets are $48, which isn't bad at all.
i'd kill 17 people to go to Firefly
I know not everyone's tastes...but here is my concert lineup so far May and June

Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
Going to see Darius Rucker tomorrow night.
Single day tickets are on sale and under $100
Too far, but I would not mind seeing this one myself.
may have posted this before stuff was confirmed in the festival thread.
So is anyone going to Delfest? About to head out in a few hours. Can't wait!
Yeah I'm looking at going to this one. Great time of year, great lineup (so far).
I wish! Awesome line up this year, enjoy!
