Given who just posted.
All we are saying, is give Steve a chance.
No man of our time resembles Saint Stephen more than Stephen Colbert, a staunch Roman Catholic with a devoted following of young people deeply inspired by his eloquent advocacy of strictly conservative values and Christian faith.
This is a shock. I did nazi this coming at all.
He had heart surgery:
Wow. This is NOT roomy!
I'm a bit turned off by Turkson pretty much campaigning for the gig. I now have a rooting interest in the conclave.
The cardinal who could become the first black pope said Tuesday that the Roman Catholic Church faces grave challenges in remaining relevant in the modern world even as he laid out a conservative vision of how to deal with society.
In case anyone was wondering, at least based on their images in wikipedia none of the three African-born popes were black.
Yeah, apparently he'd be the first black pope.
what the actual fuck?
And I can't even claim smart phone tampering. That was a phonetic shot in the dark gone horribly wrong. And now I am at the suque's mercy! (runs off into the crowd)
IGGY POPE IS NEXT
OLD DIRTY POPE?
The Prophecy of the Popes refers to the 112th (and final) pope as Petrus Romanus, or Peter the Roman. Hope those 2012 doomsday shelters are ready for the coming apocalypse.

oh got it I couldn't even figure out what you were going for. No worries!
Does that make him the anti-Christ? This reminds me of "The Omen."
a few african (likely black) popes from way back in the day. Northern Africa was the place to be in St. Augustine's time and a few centuries afterwards.
None of the the three were black. Two were tighty-whiteys and the other was possibly a berber.
berber = soul brother
there were black roman emperors too.
Do you consider Arabs and Persians to be black, also?
I'm not sure I'd describe any of these people as "black."
well, I think "black" and "white" are very silly and inaccurate terms to describe people. sorry, I'm not a fan of the one-drop rule. but I'm guessing most people think of sub-saharan african (normally western africa) when they say "black", so no, not really I suppose. Though the girl on the right could pass for an East African certainly.
And how is this happening...
In before Papal Ban.
He was conscripted into the Hitler Youth at the age of 14, just as every boy who reached that age in Germany was.
But, hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good rant.
Call me a relic, call me what you will,
Say I'm old-fashioned, say I'm over the hill....
