Jeff Garlin has a podcast now that is pretty good. He has a tendency to interrupt his guests which can get annoying, but the ones with Larry David, Will Ferrell, and Zach Galifianakis are all awesome. He also has one with Conan that I haven't listened to yet but I hope will be similarly funny.
Met Joe Rogan tonight w/ Bryan callen. Joe was a special guest.
PFT has been on three of the last five Comedy Bang! Bang!s.
He should just be on every episode of every podcast ever because he is the funniest person in the world.
How was Rogans set? Not a huge Callen fan.
rogan's set was awesome. tons of energy, very funny. made fun of d.c. a bit regarding politics. as a listener to his podcast, i knew a lot of his jokes/stories already, but it was still awesome, especially in such an intimate venue. he is one of the few commedians who can just talk and not tell a joke for a few minutes and is interesting enough to keep the audience's attention. im such a rogan fanboy i legitimately got nervous when they said he was here. he did a solid 30-35 minutes.
callen was good too. i love his podcast so i wanted to go out and support him, and he tore me a new one 2 yrs ago when he was doing a promotion for Gillette razors in daytona and i ripped my shirt off and asked if it could shave my (ridiculously hairy) chest. my gf absolutely loved callen and thought he was the funniest comedian she we've seen.
Patent troll claims to have invented podcasting, extorts millions of dollars from podcast companies. Marc Maron's cats declare war.
The popular comedian, Marc Maron, faces off with a patent holder who claims to have invented podcasting.
A friend of mine is on Adam Carrola's show today to talk about patent trolls. She was actually able to get a few sentences in, which is impressive.
Gilbert Gottfried on Norm Macdonald's podcast was brilliant.
It's two parts and it can't be funnier.
There was a wild This American Life about this issue.
I will listen to that for sure. Thanks!
Comedy Bang Bang The TV Show has its second season premier tonight. Thought this was a good rundown of some great characs from the podcast
If you like baseball (and occasional homo-erotocism - who doesn't!), The Fringe Average Podcast is really hitting its stride. Recommended.
And fyi, the episode descriptions in the link are not representative of the show's content.
I tried to watch one episode of the TV show version of Comedy Bang Bang (the one with Amy Poehler)...It was horrible. I cannot stand that Reggie guy. He pops up on Conan all the time and I immediately fast-forward.
I literally cannot even think about Marissa Wompler without laughing a little bit.
The recent 4th anniversary show with her and Traci Rearden was incredible to start, then Mike the Janitor joined, they started talking about da prom, played the dating game, cue the music, and then the Bachelor Brothers just show up and everything goes fucking crazy. Incredible episode.
Two fantastic episodes of Comedy Bang! Bang! this week with the return of Jesse Ventura and Hot Dog the water skiing potential member of Sha Na Na.
Saw Ryan sickler last night in Baltimore. If you live there you should go tonight. Absolutely hilarious and was great to talk with after his set. Very very cool dude. Featured for aisha Tyler.
What happend to Norm MacDonald podcast?
just started listening to How Did This Get Made? i listened to the Tiptoes episode. the movie where Gary Oldman plays a little person and it might be the best unintentional comedy ever. at one point Kate Beckinsale says to Matthew Mcghaunehey. "You were in a circle jerk with a bunch of little people? I would have loved to see that."
So furious that I missed this. I didn't hear him mention once on the Crab Feast that he was going to be back in Bmore.
bill burr tickets just went on sale for nov 7th at DAR. just thought id share, orchestra tix will sell fast.
Bill thinks the late Apple founder was a credit-stealing non-inventor.

Bill Burr you speak the truth.
stro, what did you think of the Wompler pool party this week? I was a little disappointed to be honest. It absolutely had some great lines but I think they tried to fit too much in, so there was a lot of cross-talk drowning each other out.
I hate DAR. Sure, Delirious was filed there but the place is a morgue.
Def got booked at the DC Improv to open for Bill Burr. Had to cancel and my date got moved to a week with Bob Schimmel who I hated more than any person I ever met.
Huge professional regret.
I was a little distracted while listening but I pretty much agree.
Wompler still kills me no matter what and Lisler is always great. I really enjoyed the new girl character and Scott's wildly inappropriate reactions to her. Also loved the Asian posse and how blatantly racist they were.
