His hateful views are well in line with many conservative leaders. Why would he self-identify differently? Some of the things speakers said at the recent CPAC meeting were a laughable combination of lies and hateful rhetoric in the NYC Terp mold.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
"A laughable combination of lies and hateful rhetoric" seems like a great dust jacket blurb for a new book by Michelle Bachmann.

How about the same method for taxi charges? Encourage fat people to walk.

This is a great post. I've been saying the same thing for years. Personally, I would have seriously considered voting for the Mitt Romney who ran in the general election.
At the end, though, I could not vote for the Mitt Romney who ran for the republican primary or the guy who was drowned out by knuckleheads during the RNC.
Thing is, like you say (and others like Dole and McCain--ironically for the latter since he went way right to try to win the presidency), these issues are killing the party. Fiscal conservatism makes a lot of sense (though outright hatred of all things government is so, so stupid), but social conservatism is just super uncool. I think a lot of people down the middle of the US political spectrum feel the same way.
Best unconscious refutation of a kunal post that I've ever seen.
All the ones that got him elected Governor of Massachusetts.
NYCTerp is attending a women's bball game on Saturday. Die hard conservative opposed to federal opportunity programs like Title IX or secret liberal engaging in grandmaster-level trolling? You decide!
Aka all the ones he renounced when he started running for president?
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
back on subject...time to diet
Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
WTF. Where are we supposed to get our offensive linemen?
NYCTerp is now OCTerp
I checked out Bachmann's biography, and it is very impressive in both education achievement, career accomplishment, and yes she and her husband had five of their own children and foster cared for 23 more needy kids (for which she was paid a stipend from the State). She is on the distant right on most every issue so she does not evoke gratutious or favorable commentary from many here..
BTW, I know one of her staffers, a young guy who worked for her after he was deactivated from a National Guard unit call up. He was very complimentary of her sincerity and doing what she promised constituents. HOWEVER, Bachmann was far from candid about her application for Swiss citzenship, which if I recall correctly, was granted to she and her husband, but when found out, she petitioned to have the grant voided.

Those are the ones! See you knew the answer all along....
will airlines offer the seats that lose an inch for less? of course not.
I'm sure she is a wonderful mother to the children she's raised and the ones she's adopted, but as a politician, she is certifiable.
