I just realized that the Baltimore City-specific questions add up to $100 million of loans/bonds
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
Longer line at my spot this morning than on Happy Obama Day. I was shocked.
Can we all agree no matter which side of the aisle we are on, that the MD gerrymandering was downright fucking disgraceful?
Is this where the No-on-7 folks line up for their shaming?
EDIT: No, not me, silly down-voters! I've got my derision gloves on and I'm ready to shame them with you!

I was actually convinced by the suque yesterday not to let my personal hatred of MOM, the Mikes, and the entire process of question 7- make me vote no.
I am now a firm "yay" on 7.
Yay gambling and keeping the money in state.
(Still fuck MOM and the Mikes)
Voting no on question 7 solely because of the people who are proposing it is everything thats wrong with politics from a voters standpoint.
Of course creating question 7 after being vehemently against a bill with essentially the exact same purpose solely because whoever created that bill isn't in your party is everything thats wrong with politics from a politicans standpoint, but I'm not a politician so I can't do anything about that except try and vote out dumbasses.
What? WTF is wrong with you.
Can someone explain why I wasn't allowed to check Twitter on my cell phone while waiting in line?
Took about an hour to vote this morning. Lines were much longer than 2010, shorter than 2008. Not much of a surprise.
It took me 1 hour 45 minutes in line at George Marshall high school. Its in Falls Church right near Tysons Corner. The line was about twice as long as 2008 and I went the same time. A large turnout in my area is probably good for Obama but I think a large turnout was inevitable considering I haven't seen a non political ad commercial in over a month.
you mean there were signs saying no twitter while in line? but the rest of the internet/social media was fine?
I'm surprised how many people I talk to are easily convinced to vote for 7. That, or they know I'm about to mock them.
Armed with this anecdotal evidence (which has 102% predictive power) and a re-reading of the question wording this morning (seems favorable), I'm confident this will pass.
I just read in a legit-ass-seeming article that gay marriage is 0-for-32 nationally when it goes to the voters. That can't possibly be right, can it?

That's correct. Gay Marriage has never passed on the ballot. Though it will almost certainly pass in Maine today, even if it falls short in Maryland and Washington.
Go away, KA!
Election Journal @electionjournal
Philly courts order polling places to allow GOP inspectors to return. Polls not complying. Sheriff's Deps being sent to enforce. Chaos.
A judge is ordering them to be reinstated
A Pennsylvania judge is issuing an order to reinstate Republican election officials across Philadelphia who allegedly were ejected or refused entry by on-site Democratic voting chief judges, GOP officials tell Fox News.
No I just meant I was asked to put my phone away. I can understand if I was making a loud phone call (though i would have been quieter than the whining toddlers), but I was just standing there quietly checking Twitter and sending emails.
When I was in line outside the room with the voting machines I had my phone out (as did many other people) but when we went into the room they said we had to put them away.
Maybe they're scared of a Breaking Bad electromagnet situation
Fox News find any New Black Panthers yet?
They can think that clown Eric Holder for the chaos - he is a big fan of the Black Panthers.
You can't take pictures in the voting room.
wow that would suck to have wait in a long line w/o using a phone to kill time.
I only had to wait like 10 minutes, but I was on the phone the entire time.
NYCTerp is now OCTerp
In and out of the polls in 20 minutes back home in potomac...a breeze
