Anecdotal in VA from co-workers. Long lines in Loudon County, short lines in Arlington.
The Arlington report conflicts with DTMoney121's post above, I realize.

Proudly cast my vote for John Maher for Auditor General. #change
Also listened to a guy ahead of me in line talk about how he is part of an organization that wants to build man-made islands out in the ocean and start their own country that won't have all of the problems we have here in America.
My polling place in DC had 1 operational paper balloting machine. 0 operational electronic machines. Waited about 45 minutes and the line was easily double what I waited in when I left.
When I handed the lady my ID to sign in she said "we've been instructed not to look at any forms of identification, all we need is your name"
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
Crazy experience in Falls Church. Whoever divided up the alphabet A-G, H-O, and P-Z should be shot. The P-Z guy spent an hour with his finger up his Ass laughing at how absurd the setup was which was extremely annoying. A-G went pretty fast and H-O took an hour. This setup was the poster child for why you cant trust Government to do anything right..
Nancy Pelosi - The Gift that Keeps on Giving..
Could be my location specifically (between Ballston and VA Square, dense area), but seeing FB posts of the line wrapping around the library parking lot. People waited 75 minutes and still were in lines 250 people deep. Also seeing 2 hour lines at W&L HS.
Five working machines at my location.
I was voter number 85 at about 7:15 this morning in Shorewood WI (just north of Milwaukee). We had about 15 voting booths for our paper ballots in a smaller precinct (about half the village votes where I did).
Have to say I let the world down and did not cast my vote for Nimrod Y.U. Allen III for Senator.
I don't get this. When I vote in MD all they ask is your name, address - and this time, month and year of birth - no written proof of ID requested. Seems like a system open to fraud.
That's because it is.
Go away, KA!
Getting ready to go vote with my cousin and uncle. It's a family affair.

I voted against prohibition, how cool is that! Im sure that's one ballot issue Paul and I can agree.
hey Republicans if you are sad because Romney is going to lose today take some satisfaction in knowing that if you believe in the Multiverse theory Romney wins too!
There's no chance that Q5 in Maryland fails, right? Will the sheeple just blindly vote yes to the new districts?
So what time do we start hearing third-hand stories about machines not working in black precincts and/or black panthers intimidating white precincts?
Per my PMs, he's already unleashed 80 gallons of civic pride today in North Carolina.
I won't spoil who he voted for, since the confidentiality of the ballot box AND the PM Inbox are sacred.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
I just had a patient yell this about the machines not working

Yes they will. I was really annoyed with the way they worded that question. Even the WAPO says the gerrymandering is a fricken joke, worst in the nation.
The wording of the question would lead anyone who doesn't follow this stuff to believe it's just a formality. The "based on recent census figures, as required by the United States Constitution." line is just blatantly rigging the question to fool the uninformed.
Roll call if you care way more about the various state referendum questions than the Presidential/Congressional races
This is a situation where few voters understand why this is an issue. Hell, even the WP is against it, but I doubt that many voters will really understand. Gerrymandering at its best.
Stop the states crazy, partisan redistricting scheme.
Where's the ballot initiative to vote against gay gerrymandering in Maryland?
Question 69: Do you favor the expansion of commercial gaming in the State of Maryland for the primary purpose of raising revenue for the education of gay gerrymanderers?
I thought the Question 7 people had it locked up for the "Pro" side, but they just had to tack on that rider for the perverted arts.
