Sucks is superb, but Hopslam is better. Especially on draft.
I love how in PA (who has the worst beer laws in the world) you can get stuff like cigar city and russian river beers
it is 100% worth the stop...if you have a full day to burn (and a ride) then you need to go to the tasting room where they have so many on tap that they dont sell or release anywhere. Real cool place especially if you love hops.
and to charm - I have had Sucks many many times (the bar i work at carried it) and i love it but i just prefer Lucky 13 more
anyway, anyone know where to find the Iron Throne ale in NW DC?
Just came across a sixer of Hopslam. Second batch, bottled 1/23/13. Hopefully it's better than the first batch (which I didn't bother buying, heard a lot of mixed reviews).
picked up some dc brau on the wings of armageddon. very delicious beer by dc brau. nice to see terrapin beer in MD now. frisco had a release of 15 or so taps. wake n bake is always a winner.
Not this year. Hopslam was disappointing, particularly since it costs twice as much as Sucks.
SIAP, Wapo Beer Brackets
Wow tough draw for resurrection.

I can't believe so many people like that raisin shit, unless they are just DFH fanbois

The raisin d'être is just awful.
I'm drinking a tall boy of the DFH /Sierra Nevada collaboration IPA "life and limb". Tasty, hoppy little IPA without being too over the top.
Picked up a four pack of Firestone Double Jack, hadn't seen it in the 12oz bottles before, good stuff.
you pick this up in MD? heard they were going to sell in 4 packs.
Yeah Staples in Crofton
We should pull together a Suque favorite beer bracket.

Tonight is the DFH tap takeover at smoke and barrel in Adams Morgan. Probably heading over there after work.
There are numerous events every night this week in DC for the Craft Brew conference - check out links above
Yeah I know, I was just pointing this one out because A.) its tonight and B.) I can walk there from my house.
here's the full list of events
Check this list to find events taking place in the DC area during the conference week.
Firestone Walker & Ballast Point tomorrow
That looks awesome, too bad I'm heading out of town.
Is Bluejacket open yet? If not, what are the chances it will be during the Spring? Would be nice to hit it up before a game.
Plus it's taco tuesday at S&B-- 3 BBQ tacos and a side for $5. Awesome deal.
This is a good idea
I'll have time after April 15 to help pull it together. I also intend to comb through this entire thread and create a master list of all the beers mentioned, but haven't had time to do it.
