For all the love Pumking gets, Williamsburg AleWerks Pumpkin Ale is pretty damn good. Right up there with Schlafly.
How the heck am I supposed to know if the beers Im buying are overpriced?
I bought a 22oz Pumking and it was $11. Then I got a 4 of DFH Palo Santo because I remember reading about it on here and it was $20. Also a 6 of Leffe Blond for $12. I legitimately have no clue how much this shit might cost elsewhere I just go to the one store by my house that has all this stuff.
As awesome as this whole craft beer thing is its becoming an expensive hobby.

$11?! They were $6.99 a bottle at Village Pump. Are you buying in Bethesda or something?
On another note, I could really go for a Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald right about now. Now that's a great autumn brew.
Those are $4-5 more than any MoCo prices.
Had anyone been to the previously mentioned Old Line store in Beltsville, yet? Thinking I might stop before/after the ncsu game if worth it.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
There's ratings/comments for places to buy beer on beeradvocate and ratebeer. Often times prices fit into the discussion. Might be able to find a recommendation for some place nearby with better pricing.
yea beer advocate is clutch for beer buying. i wanted to hit Corridor and then the new Old Line joint today, but the i got a giant traffic dildo up the ass coming home from Corridor, and didnt have time for Old Line.
oh and there was a Goose Island rep doing tasting at Corridor but she didnt have any Bourbon County and didnt know when it was coming :FAIL
AA dudes - Staples Corner Liquor has Bourbon County. drove over there this morning. two bottle limit. $7.99/btl
they said it was going fast

Picked up 2 bottles at dawsons behind adams in severna park for 6.99
Great Divide Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout today at Klobys. Not what I'd normally drink, but heard great stuff about this brew. The taste is bitter dark chocolate, roasted and balanced. Intense, clean flavor - would definitely try again.
So people like the Fear pumpkin ale, right? I picked up 6 and will drink tomorrow.
Rodmans in dc got tons of bourbon county today. Full shelf And I saw more cases on a pallet in the parking lot. 23.99
SIAP Baltimore Beer week starts in 2 days
Either this website doesn't exist or is not currently available.
Anyone go to the hard times beer tasting in Bethesda on Monday??
Finally having my Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout right now at Frisco -soooo good. Probably will be a one-and-done at 14.5% though, and I'm a little nervous about the tab...
Oh damnit if you had told me I would've been there immediately

New store "Old Line Wine and Bistro" in the old Circuit City space in Beltsville has a shitton of Pumpking and a pretty good beer selection. I think they are still getting started because some of the shelves are empty and some of the prices are outrageous, but it's worth a look. The space is huge even with the little restaurant, it could compete with corridor on selection when fully stocked.
Haven't cracked the pumpking but fear is my favorite so far this year
I picked up a bottle of Elysian Night Owl yesterday....was looking for BCS and didn't find it but the trip wasn't completely wasted.
Might go to the events next week at Victoria and Frisco
$10.95. A buck better than I expected, and worth every penny.
I had one of those at the Pony Bar in NYC. Not bad, but I wouldn't order again. Too sweet for my liking.
cool, this was what we were discussing about 20 posts up. i was wondering what size the shop would be.
Old Line seemed like its good if it is convenient for you. Plenty of space-- lots of room to grow.
They had a good selection, but wouldn't say its up to the Corridor level. They did have a couple of seasonal/limited selections that Corridor is sold out of. They don't have quite as much and don't have the single bottle/mixed 6 area like Corridor has.
Didnt think I would find something from Lagunitas that I didn't like, but they got me with the Daytime fractional IPA. Not a fan.
The Troegs Perpetual IPA is good. Seems like there is a hint of Belgian yeast in the taste? Or maybe a little spicy taste like a saisson. Not really heavy, but there is something there.
do you people drink out of proper glasses?
I feel like I should just get this for $20
