not as much
or I try not to bc it usually goes to bad places
but I dunno
Local store had a tasting of some Sprecher brews from Wisconsin. The Black Bavarian was solid. Picked up a 4 pack. Tonight however was all Hopslam.
I love beer and bacon, but that sounds disgusting.
Didn't know Sam Adams made a rauchbier, but they are always disgusting...no matter who makes it.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
Drank a 6 pack of Magic Hat's spring seasonal vinyl and thought the taste was pretty bad. In fact, this was the first beer I've had in a long time that I did not like.
Also picked up Sierra Nevada Big Foot. Always liked that one.

For those of you who like Dale's Pale Ale, I heard Deviant Dale's is suppose to be coming to the area soon, its their IPA and while I haven't tried it myself, I've heard its pretty good.
Edit to add Beer Advocate has mixed reviews, so we'll see, but definitely going to try it out.

Its awesome. Had it on tap at Taco Mac last weekend while at the ACC Tourney.
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
Anybody ever been? Might pull the trigger on this.
Warm weather is here and we're due for a spring cleaning. Refresh your seasonal rituals with this Adventure: LivingSocial's Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival on either April 21 or 22, including unlimited 5-ounce tast...
IM Wine has Dogfish Head Johnny Cask (75 minute) if anyone is looking for it. $9.99
HOLY SHIT has this been spotted anywhere else?
Bought one at Elbe's in Wheaton last night.
Pretty tasty, though I barely detected any maple syrup flavor.
i think it hit Maryland yesterday. i actually saw the case sitting under some other cases and grabbed 2 bottles and the guy said "oh i see you found the Johnny Cask." they hadnt even put it out yet
how is Elbes craft selection. i've only ever gone there for kegs.
Better than you would think.
They always have a good supply of DFH bombers, and have devoted a fair bit of their limited shelf space to Flying Dog, carrying literally all of their stuff.
It will never compare to Perfect Pour, IM Wine, or Corridor but there are advantages too- when they have something like Johnny Cask, or Flying Dog "The Fear" Pumpkin- I can buy it out like crazy for a month, since the vast majority of their customer base is buying Bud Ice.
yea i live in Silver Spring so wold prefer to not drive to the three you mentioned for more day to day stuff like DFH.
It is my go-to my non crazy, hard to find stuff.
Wednesday's are 10% off on Micros too BTW.
A typical Elbe's order for me would be a DFH bomber or two, and maybe a 6 pack of Fordham Helles or similar.
Anyone know if Perfect Pour has this...on cask this is one of my top three beers. (Loose Cannon and Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale being the others)
would be shocked if they didnt considering IM Wine is right down the road, so they'd have the same distributor.
just picked up two bottles. they have a case left. DFH 75 and NCAA.
Is there any issue with a cask beer being bottled? I thought that wasn't ideal.
I had the DFH 75 at their Rehoboth location about two years ago and fell in love with it, but at the time they weren't bottling it. And every time I've been back since then, they haven't had it available.
Uinta's Crooked Line Imperial Pilsener legit sucks....it's a poor double IPA, not a pilsener in any fashion.
Tried a couple from Big Boss brewing in Raleigh while down in NC....Angry Angel Kolsch was crisp and went really well w/ my plate of BBQ and fixings. Hell's Belle's Blond Ale was completely forgettable.
They were supposed to have it at Frisco for Oskar Blues Pint Night this past Wednesday, but they were building the night around the Deviant Dale's, and it didn't come in, so they just did a New Belgium night instead. They're still hoping to get it in in the next few weeks.
Swung by Corridor today for some other stuff- NO Johnny Cask 75min in stock.
Yeah, was in Staples today and the guy said the last few weeks the distributor keeps saying it will be here next week.
