Politics sucks. That is all.
"Anyone who talks about Jordan Williams leaving knows nothing about basketball. Absolutely nothing" - Hogie 02/27/2011
When has Paul Ryan ever said we can't afford Medicare? His argument for the last decade has been that it has to be drastically reformed, but he's never said we can't afford government funded healthcare for seniors.
My God, no. She was a mediocre Sec. of State and was the national security adviser who helped oversee one of the greatest intelligence blunders in history.
A part of me wants Paul Ryan in the White House so we can have a real life (Jack) Ryan. Just saying.
Well, conservatives have always believed in letting the level of government that's closest to the people (i.e. local, county, state) have the most funding and power. That way people have more power to change it if it fails them, or move away to avoid it.
so does he gel his hair?
last decade? no last two years, before that he was voting for things like medicare part d.....
English is essentially a foreign language in Kenya, dumbass.
great delivery..horribly dishonest
Kind of like obama?
like leaving out the part that HE WAS ON that presidential committee he just blasted Obama for not listening too. Of course he voted against the findings that he wished Obama took...
Intelligence blunders are one of those things that can be quickly forgiven because of the nature of the field (you don't "oversee" a blunder). You never know the level of what you don't know until it's too late, because it's not your fault you're not omniscient.
But her performance as SoS reinforces why she's uncomfortable with holding office; she was never an enthusiastic participant in politics (she constantly reminds us of that). That's why it'll be a while before she changes her mind, if ever. She was chosen for her qualifications, but was never a natural.

This is possibly the most cynical political speech I've ever seen. And that's saying something.
Obama would be great delivery, horribly utopian
hitting the mandatory Reagan
great speech for the base..not so sure for independents
Obama : Ryan
Academia : Politics
Theory : Policy
...that's their respective careers in a nutshell. I'll take column B any day.
that was a good line
good line hah
Very impressive speech.
"A dull journey from entitlement to entitlement" #Julia
Said no Republican ever during and after the Bush years.
It's exactly for independents. He went through the Obama term from start to finish and reminded them of their feelings at each point. From excitement and hope, to displeasure about Obamacare, to becoming disheartened about our "recovery"
He reminded them what was promised and compared it to where we are at.
Go away, KA!
"a country where everything's free but us"
that's some grade A shit right there.
