It really wasn't that complicated. McCain was being a dick and Locklear was playing coy. It felt like more of a filibuster, but that might have been in the back of Locklear's head.
Although not practical, it would be kinda entertaining to shoot it down, regardless of destination. It would be the equivalent of Kim Jong Un shooting from anywhere inside of half court and us swatting his s***.
Yeah. That was for those ppl who were wondering about how a decision to shoot down a ballistic missile would be made, if necessary.
Wow. This is NOT roomy!
If we do end up having to shoot down one of their birds, Obama would pretty much completely reverse my opinion of him/his presidency if he came out for the press conference in a vintage Hawks jersey and opened with "NONONO.....NOT TODAY KIM JONG UN.....AHAHAHHAHAHAH!"
Seems like a perfect time to reprise my plan of having Obama challenge Un to a one on one game on a neutral court. Since he's been surrounded by yes men apologists for his entire life, he probably believes in his own ability and might take the bait. The stakes are simple: the winning player controls both countries.
I think they should do a Billy Madison style academic decathalon.
The chances of Kim beating Obama in a game of hoops is probably 10%. But they have a 0% chance of beating our military. Why give them a shot?
This is our one chance to see a live action Space Jam
If we're going to have a live action Space Jam, I really hope we can muster up someone better for our side than a 51 year old who didn't even play college ball.

You do know that the One went 2 for 22 while unguarded the other day...
Yeah. He doesn't have a chance. I heard that Kim Jong Un hit 30 full court shots in a row, deemed it to be too easy, and decided to not become the greatest player in NBA history out of respect for Michael Jordan's feelings.
"Why do we expect a young, FAT BOY, who is in love with his wife, who loves his palaces, his cars, his great food, why do we expect him to commit suicide by starting a war he has no chances to win - and, he knows it?" Lankov asked rhetorically. "Starting a war which will get him and his entire family most likely killed in a matter of days, if not hours?"
"We're dealing with a very smart regime, highly rational, Machiavellian," he said. "These attempts to manufacture crisis usually pay off. They want to remind the world they exist and that they are dangerous. So it's quite rational. A cold-minded calculation."

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Nobody but Kim Jong-un knows what he hopes to achieve with his saber-rattling campaign, but the young North Korean leader probably didn't set out to aid the United States, the sworn

This is what they have to fight with. Do you really think they want to start a fight with us?
With the world staring down the barrel of North Koreas mutually assured destruction. “North Korea cannot invade the South without inviting a fatal counterattack from the U.S. and South Korea, while Washington and Seoul cannot overthrow the North Korean regime by force or destroy its strategic military assets without risking devastating losses in the process,” a report by the IISS said.
(CNN) -- North Korea has raised at least one missile into its upright firing position, feeding concerns that a launch is imminent, a U.S. official told CNN Thursday.
Missile in an upright firing position?
Do they know something about Alex Len returning to Maryland...?
