Blade Runner on Syfy now. It gets better every time I watch it.
Warrior - awesome movie and the acting was top notch.
You shut your whore mouth.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
Saw Hunger Games. Haven't read any of the books and didn't get the hype but it was a decent movie. Seemed like they spent a lot of time showing the kids working to get sponsors, yet Woody Harrelson was the one to get them supplies during the games.
I finally got around to seeing the Descent. I thought it was pretty good in the first half (I'm somewhat claustrophobic), but it kind of tailed off towards the end.
Still not bad for a horror flick.
harold and kumar 3D, wafflebot stole the show.
I would link to Al Queda for you...but since you hate Nic Cage...I am sure you already have it...
Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
I watched The Big Year with Jack Black, Steve Martin, and Owen Wilson.
I liked it, but it didn't do well critically or commercially.
I liked it too...all them played it low key which was a nice change...
Has Bale been bad in anything? I haven't seen a performance by him that I didn't like yet.
His best work:
Here's The Dark Knight himself Christian Bale uncensored in top form lashing out at Shane Hurlbut, the cinematographer for the film Terminator Salvation. This was recorded back in July 2008. Apparently, while shooting a scene, Hurlbut walked behind co-star Bryce Dallas Howard and through Bale's line of sight and Bale went ballistic. It's actually pretty funny and sad at the same time. Enjoy!

Has anyone here seen Bernie with Jack Black? It got 92% on RottenTomatoes and I am considering getting it on RedBox.
Holy shit, I never heard that. Wow. I wish this was an actual scene. I would pay so much money to see it on film.

Just catching up on this thread and wanted to add that I hate, hate, HATE that that heavy-handed, subtle-as-a-sledgehammer piece of shit crash beat Brokeback Mountain, one of my favorite movies of the 2000s so far, for Best Picture. And to a lesser degree that the very overrated Capote took best actor from Heath Ledger, who was just as amazing in BB as in TDK, IMO.
Anyway, I saw La Grand Illusion in the theater (at The Charles) this weekend. I'd seen it before, but damn, that's a great movie. Restored print looked great too.
Put me in the Crash is overrated camp. I hated it. Other than Matt Dillon, who was great in the movie, the rest of it was more like a TV movie of the week than an Oscar winning picture. Loved Capote though.
Did The Changeup and The Dictator tonight w/ the roommates (We were on a "The" kick? I don't know)
I expected to HATE The Changeup and figured it would be Scott awful based on the plot but I remembered why I'm a Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde and Judd Apatow's wife fan. This movie should have been horrible, but they made it not. 7/10.
The Dictator was just silly. I laughed a few times but this was just really poorly done by Cohen. I think this was his, "everything I do, people love, let's see how little effort I can put into a movie and still have it make money," movie.
"The biggest losers in life are people correcting message board grammar . Fact not opinion"
It was aided by Transformer-level expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by Battleship. I mean, it was still a mindless, cheesy action flick, but at least I wasn't consciously aware of my IQ ticking down as I watched.
Love this movie. Great, great raw emotion in the final fight
Private Resort - one of those 80s skin comedies featuring Johnny Depp. Shirley from Laverne & Shirley shows her boobies.
Those two kids in Knowing are never going to find their bunny rabbits again.
Yeah, lazy Sunday so we just watched Knowing too. Meh.
Let me know if there's anything better on than Predator 2 or else thats the next one up for us.
Finished Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy on the commute last week. Solid, well done espionage movie.
Started 21 Jump Street and impressed so far, actually made me lol on the train's quite car a few times.
Back to Bar Rescue on Spike...
Black Dynamite (the movie) just started on Adult Swim. If you haven't seen this you need to

I can't imagine Black Dynamite being good on basic cable.
