Thats like a Chicago Bulls fan quitting the NBA midway through the 96 season.
Yeah, I kept hearing about how great that season was, but mid-way through I couldn't take how phony the acting/writing/relationships had become. Once Lithgow opened up to Dexter about killing his parents and they got extra close, I had had enough. More likely what sent me over the edge was the disgusting relationship between LaGuerta and Angel *shudder*.
Yep, hated Ross.
I think the last episode I watched was when Rita died. That was the season finale of the Trinity season right? I pretty much stopped for the same reasons.
The 24 mafia reminded me of one that needs to be on here: Chase Edmonds. Awful awful character.
Yeah, I quit that season with a few episodes left for basically the same reasons. It was just bad. I don't understand people who rave about that season.
Yes but at least Jennifer Carpenter and Evangeline Lily are both really hot which can distract people from their supposed suckiness. Even though I disagree with both. Both have really good characters that, yes, have had bad moments, but every character has.
I agree with every character but Jesse and Walt in Breaking Bad though. Terrible. It's like Laguerta is on screen for 15 minutes per episode in BB, every time Walt or Jesse aren't on the screen.

"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
Ross and Ted Mosby... good calls. But I also don't like lily from HIMYM. All of her manipulating and meddling pisses me off
All the wives from The Unit. That would've been a HOF show if their involvement wasn't so forced.
40-60% less wives and wives storylines = Show that's 5x as good
And the Hispanic U.S. President in Season 4 was the drug guy from SoA and Capt. Aceveda in The Shield (I'm still in season 1)!
The only other time they show the President? Pre-season 4, with a one episode guest appearance by...
FRICKIN' WILLIAM H. MACY!
What?!? How The Unit pulled him for one episode, I will never know.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
I love that he says he stopped mid-way thru the season and you let him know what happened @ the end. Well played sir.
*i edited as to not perpetuate the cycle
Yeah, I really want to watch the show but the wives part of the pilot was just so effing annoying. I keep waiting for someone to torrent the entire series with all the wife scenes edited out.
Im only 25 and even I know the correct answer is Donna Martin.
A few have mentioned him, but David Costabile as Tom Klebanow on The Wire was the pits. I had rewatched The Wire this summer, so it had been months since watching BB. I hated Gale on BB obviously, so when I saw his face, combined with the awful character he portrayed, I became physically agitated. Part of it was I was having trouble placing him (don't know why). Klebanow on his own was insufferable, but once I finally pieced together where I recognized the actor from, he entered new territory. (I have similar hatred for anyone Marion Cotillard plays after her amazing performace as Mal in Inception).
Carmella is another obvious choice. She is much more hatable than even Skylar because even though they both struggle with the lives their husbands lead and occasionally want to interfere, Carmella knew damn well what she was getting herself into. Same goes for Maggie Schroeder in Boardwalk, she knew Nucky and who he was, what he did, before getting involved.
Lastly, I absolutely hated Claudette Wyms. Hated. She is an intensely moral character on a show that was severely lacking this, but her continuous persecution of Vic and his crew had me rooting for the lupus. Even Aceveda was preferable to her in the captain's chair. She also bounced HOF Virgil from the top spot, so F her.
Dr. Melfi is the correct answer.
How is Kim Bauer not mentioned? I was really hoping that the cheetah would have taken her out in season 2.
Whats annoying about her? She has a look about her that makes her really sexy. She was much worse in her role as Karen Hill
We fast forwarded thru their parts. The series also reduced their storylines to about 15% the last season but it wasn't enough to bring back viewers who had left. Too bad. Jonas was a super badass
I want to add:
These two cornered the market for annoying characters. I was rooting for Carrie's death throughout season 2 of Homeland.
