O'Reilly's ego is so big he's lucky he can fit into Fox's studio. Someone like Laura Ingraham will eventually take his spot and the ratings for the time slot won't slip.

He's always known he's politics but the last few years he's let the rest of his act overshadow his acumen.
Agreed. Really used to like Hardball back in the day. His Sunday show is still pretty good because he actually shuts the fuck up from time to time.
I knew Mathews 20 years ago in his SF Examiner days and he was a pretty passionate journalist back then with a sense of history and appreciation of politics, but still dying for attention and fame. I've gone right since then and he pretends to have gone further left, but really I think he's mostly just a brand of media whore. If there were money and air time in being more centrist, he'd happily be there.
So, you're gay, then?
matthews is a god...the great thing about him is that unlike many talking heads he truly cares and means what he says...whether hes doing his show or speaking at a round table in a philly hotel hes the same passionate guy who bleeds for the less fortunate.....reminds me a ton of my grand pa
plus hes one of the best philly spokesmen on the planet...reppin to the fullest
Loves the pic of Chris in the straight jacket, reminds me of my favorite talk radio guy who when playing sound bites from Matthews, it's "live from the rubber room."
He was sitting in front of me on a flight two weeks ago coming back from a tropical place. He dosen't tan well.
By a god I assume you mean Hades.
LOL at "Matthews is a god". Lord Summer's Eve.
I wonder how many opinions on this thread were given to them by the networks they watch. I actually watch them all fairly consistently. MSNBC's prime time crew are all dedicated liberal mouth pieces...fighting for the cause. Hannity is the same on the right, but O'Reilly follows his own thing. Likely why his show blows all the others out of the water. For those that think he is a righty, look up his recent comments on gay marriage.
how sad that you cant be a righty unless you are a civil rights hater.....cool party
No he's not.
We Are Change is a nonpartisan, independent media organization comprised of individuals and groups working to expose corruption worldwide. We are made up of independent journalists, concerned citizens, activists, and anyone who wants to shape the direction our world is going in. We seek to expose the lies of governments and the corporate elite who constantly trash our humanity. By asking the hard questions the mainstream media refuses to ask, we shine a little more light on truth. Furthermore, we seek to connect, educate, and motivate those who are interested in alerting the public to the pertinent issues that are affecting our lives each and every day. Our goal is to create a community of truth-seekers and peacemakers who share a commitment to nonviolent action. We Are Change is not so much an individual or group, but an idea, an idea that "We the People" are the change we wish to see in this world. Together, as residents of this planet, we can push back against those who wish to dominate our lives and begin to restore liberty to all.

LOL (again) at your description...."civil rights hater". Am I supposed to take you seriously now?
The fringe has asshats on the left and the right. Both capable of some pretty moronic beliefs. Are there more dems than pubs that believe in gay marriage? Yes. Is the "republican party" anti-gay marriage? Not any more.
And by your logic, multitudes of black people are civil rights haters. Gay marriage went to referendum in California and black voters voted against it overwhelmingly.
