Maybe we didn't order right, but my g/f and I were completely unimpressed with this place. It was about as standard as Chinese food gets. As far as Howard County goes, Hunan Legend and Hunan Manor are both better options, imo.
Is the Canopy good? I go by there 3 times a week taking my son to baseball practice.
That looks like the spot. Thanks.
Do you go to Kiwanis Wallas? That's like 2 minutes from my house. And yeah, I've never been to the Canopy either. Been passed it over 100 times.
As mentioned, KC and Dorsey's Search are the same guys. It ain't NY pizza but it's good for Murderland.
Canopy is OK if you're driving by. Pioneer is king.
HCYP. I'm not too popular there.
Just got back. Spanakopita and Kabob sandwich FTW.
Friendly, feisty barmaids with the banter; neighborhood bar feel; food is authentic and awesome; not a ton of beers on tap but plenty in bottles.
It's what you wish was down the street in Columbia instead of that chain.
Best route from HoCo is 103, Ilchester, Thistle.
Dimitris restaurant is a favorite Greek restaurant and Mediterranean restaurant. Greek restaurant is in Catonsville, Ellicott City, Baltimore.
Try it again. Those places are far inferior IMO. Hunan Manor went to shit when Jesse left and opened Asean Bistro a while back. I like Hunan Legend but it's pretty average stuff.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Yep, HCYP 9u travel team. It's our first year with HCYP, played EYO prior. What happened with HCYP?
Random......where is Pioneer?
They don't like to lose.
So I walk into the giant at Dorsey search yesterday and it's like walking into the bar from Total Recall. I saw some of the strangest looking folks I ever saw. Wtf?
My son plays on the 9u WHC team so we played you this year. We were on vacation for that game though. I heard you killed us.
Near Security. Corner of Rolling Road and Johnnycake.
Attempted to check out trattoria. Yesterday, the timing was bad. Today, I tried to take my daughter there at 3:30. Closed. Said they opened at 4. Stopped in after hitting subway. Owner said the open at 4:30. Potential customer that arrived before me was none to happy about it and arguing with the owner about having some notice. By my count, e missed out on at least 7 customers between 3:30 and 4.
Maybe next time.
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
Red Pearl is better than all of them, it's near the mall.

Bon Chon chicken is suppose to open this upcoming week. Was suppose to open around March but got pushed back. i'm excited
Living Social for Asean Bistro today. $15 for $30 worth of food from there is a pretty good deal.
i purchased this with this link. hopefully, it goes towards your free $15.
I actually didn't get it since I recently moved back to Baltimore and have eaten there a million times. Hope you enjoy it.
had some bidness to attend to in Hoco last weekend and went to Facci's. Pretty disappointing. PIzza's were average at best, and the calamari was basically fried rubber bands. Beer selection is a debacle but i can always give that a pass if the food is legit.
The Asian place next to the old Frisco Grill was amazing and good value. Sorry, I can't think of the name. Fresh noodles made from scratch made a great base to the meal I had.
I've never been but I don't know why you'd expect a good beer selection at a place that advertises itself as an (authentic?) Italian restaurant and wine bar
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
i didnt, but there is a difference between "good beer selection" and "debacle". and actually, most wine bars tend to have decent beer lists, in my experience. Iron Bridge or Aida for example.
the beer didnt bother me tho. The food did.
