How do you view your fellow IMS message boarders? People who have attended the irl board meetups probably will answer this question differently, but how do YOU view your "relationship" with your fellow full blown terp message board addicts?
It sounds strange to say aloud but i think i view you guys as friends in a strage way. I even feel that way with the more publicly known posters which is even more false but still kinda cool. With all that said i have a problem when it comes to visiting this site so there is that. Still its several hundred relationships that fill that slot for terp addict friend.
This is like a board bonding exercise where everyone spills their feelings out.
7erps is one of my best friends but I was friends with him before he started posting.
There are a lot of people I could see myself being friends with if I hung out with them regularly or worked with them. JDawg is a good example. Seems like a good dude. But no, I don't consider anyone on here my friend.
You are my imaginary friends.
Basically thats how i feel.
For some of you, I would take a bullet. For some, I would give one.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
I'm not writing you a check for $600 if that's what you're asking
If you're so smart, why aren't you rich?
Ever read GRRM's Sandkings, or seen the TV version? That's how I feel about you guys.
Just read the wiki and LOL.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
It's a great story. The TV version doesn't do it justice. I love all of his old SciFi stuff more even more than the Thrones stuff
I don't know what you mean, but it had the cadence of a joke.
I view QT through a hidden camera I keep on her night stand.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
I used to think that everyone was a completely different person irl than they were on the forums, mostly because I used to be a flamebating douchebag (yes I know I'm still a douchebag) on the forums but was a very chill guy irl.
Then I met a shitton of people and realize that everyone was exactly like their board persona..except me of course.
Basically I feel like if I could tolerate you on the board I could tolerate you irl.
I'm still bitter about my 2nd round loss in SMB 3.0.
Why would I want to think about other dudes spankin it?
There's a reason I never attend board meetups.
LOL u/v for you.
To the best of my knowledge I have never met any of you IRL, and I go back at least as far as Fridgetv.com if not earlier.
My overarching opinion of most of you is that you are more sports-knowledgable than I am, and most of you can appreciate humor if it is dumbed way down (clearly taking your lead from Grande).
I love that you have the dumbest/worst sense of humor, but think other people like things dumbed down. Bravo!
It's pretty well documented. You like my less complicated, more obvious (dumbed down) parodies, and any time I bring out something even slightly esoteric or abstract you call it "LOL bad". Don't be ashamed, I'm sure there are things you're very good at, Toogs, it's just that MB moderating and evaluating writing talent are not among them.
umterp, hogie and me have probably met more people on this board than anyone else on this board has between meet-ups, tailgates, bowl games, away football games, etc. we've each met 100+ people easily.
as a result, this is what i sort of do....
for every poster that actually catches my attention that i have never met (you'd be surprised how often i read a thread, reading every post, and don't even look over at who actually posted,) they tend to remind me of someone else on here that i have met. as a result, for better or worse, i tend to 'feel about' that poster whatever i feel about the person to whom they remind me.
It's actually completely the opposite. You tend toward dumb, lowest common denominator stuff. Occasionally you make one that is truly funny. I love abstract; awards is the best parody poster for that reason.
and for anyone that wants to be my new friend.. i'm trying to get to CP in time to stop at looney's before the game. i look like my avatar, ha, and i don't get annoyed when people walk up to me say "are you pooh?"
i'm also attending the baltimore alumni viewing event at hightopss on saturday in timonium to watch the UNC game.
RealityGlitch is an ok dude. UMTerp is pretty cool. 2more seemed cool.
Probably missing a ton of people.
i'm pretty sure that in my almost 15 (god help me) years of posting on all of our boards, i've never started a parody thread.
see? right off the bat, i don't even know you, but i have a great opinion of you because umterp and 2more are two of my favorite people in the whole wide world IRL, so you have a great judge of character. :-) that's sort of how my mind works on here.
